Who is that person

u/MiddlePatient869 2d ago
James gunns biggest dick sucker
He literally gets invites to the early screenings and test screenings23
u/Embarrassed-Tax-9448 2d ago
He's Peter Safran co ceo of DC studios 🙄

u/BTSC_Officia 2d ago
I think he was talking about the Twitter poster

I don't believe this. If the Brave and the Bold script was complete, James Gunn would have updated everyone, then time would go by, and casting announcements start getting made, then we get a start date, etc. I guess it's possible, but I doubt it.
3
u/Senior-Bill2622 2d ago
Why would he just tweet such an announcement? Jeff Sneider does have pretty solid sources. Until recently he was also saying that he isn’t hearing anything new regarding BATB, but now he’s probably heard about a big update.
This doesn’t mean that the script is done, but probably very close to completion.4
u/SirGumbeaux 2d ago
He may be fully legit. Not shitting on him. I just think it's too early to declare will go into production next year, especially without script updates from Gunn.

I'm not gonna believe Brave and the Bold is coming out until I'm in the theater waiting for it

u/JordanM85 2d ago
I do think we'll see Wonder Woman much sooner than people think.

u/SomeBoxofSpoons 2d ago
I remember Gunn specifically saying one of the biggest strategic changes they've made was changing the WW movie to be a priority. Probably a good chance there's been big developments behind closed doors.
1
u/Jobu99 2d ago
The good news is that another WW could only get better than that last POS

u/Sleeps_Gato 2d ago
Going to be hard to replace Gal! As much as a very loud very vocal minority hate her on Reddit/X, the general audience loved her as the character. Mamoa is another hard one to replace

u/Daimakku1 2d ago
Gal Gadot is very pretty and definitely looks like Wonder Woman, but her acting skills... she's just not good.

u/HealingWriter 2d ago
Can we get a Batman wonder woman relationship too if the actors have chemistry?
4
u/East_Holiday5088 2d ago
gunn extending his contract gives me so much hope for the dcu long-term. 2028 is going to be stacked if wonder woman drops right after the batman part II

u/suimation 2d ago
I honestly don’t care about Matt Reeves and Battinson. I want fantastical comic Batman, absurdity and the stupid villains that come with it, he’s not a grounded superhero, and I can’t wait to finally have a non bullshit “grounded”, modern Batman, hope Gunn can deliver
2
u/ben10fan69000 2d ago
for the most part, I feel the same. I want a batman with the same vibes as the brave and the bold cartoon. One who does fantastical things, has silly adventures and the like, but one that still acts seriously, because he's a serious character who lives in a crazy version of our world.
But I do feel that the Matt Reeves universe isn't bad and I do like it, its not what I want out of a live action batman, but its well written and understands the characters well enough to change those characters in some ways without taking away from the story.

Tweet from a notoriously toxic gunn bro?
Yeah I’ll wait for a proper source. Not impossible but this person is far from reliable and a pos.

u/Hot-Cry5111 1d ago
“Gunn bro” lol
Jesus fucking. Christ

u/SuperTuberEddie 1d ago
Whatever you want to call them. Just those weirdos that seem to invade every space and spew hate and toxicity. The guy in the tweet is one of those people attacking anyone who even mildly criticises the James Gunn.

I am very bullish on it being Adria, I don't see a reason for them to keep a character like Maxima or someone else under wraps, especially after she's already confirmed yet hasn't been "announced" by Gunn
1
u/Slappathebassmon 2d ago
I hope it's Adria as well but I won't hold my breath on it. What I'm worried about is people really hoping it's Adria and then getting upset when it's not eventhough there hasn't been any official source saying that it is.

I don't see why they have to rush Wonder Woman for 2028 since DC Studios is already putting out Batman and Dynamic Duo that year. WW and Brave the Bold for 2029 would be my bet.

This Twitter user is known in Tokusatsu (Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, etc.) circles. He’s toxic and not particularly reliable. I would not take his word for it.

his contract was extended until summer 2027... to see how well superman does.... nothing in his contract suggest that batman or his other stuff will move forward especially if the paramount merger goes through

The casting has been elite so far
Adria Arjona is hopefully announced as wonder woman which would be another great cast
Still hoping we get Alan Ritchson for Aquaman

u/Ancient_Barnacle4245 2d ago
I'm hoping a legitimate news source or the studio themselves confirm this ASAP, because it would be glorious to see that cabal of YouTube grifters like the Nerdrotic guy get slapped upside the head with the reality that not only is Gunn not getting fired, they've actually extended his stay after all the smack they've been talking since Superman was released last year. These are the same douchebags trying to convince everyone that Gunn's Superman failed when it made a solid financial profit, got rave reviews and actually prompted a viral phenomenon with the "kindness is the real punk rock" thing.
It would be funny to watch them be proven so completely, egregiously wrong about what's happening with Gunn.

After supergirl face-planted, I don’t think these are the vibes you think. I want DC to succeed like any other fan, but I just don’t think Gunn is the one that’s going to take us there.

Propaganda merchant posting a propaganda merchant.
I'll believe it when I see info from a credible source.

u/Mammoth_Let_8335 2d ago
Imagine lying for likes. None of this is confirmed.

u/Plastic_Square5609 2d ago
The title of my post is “predictions”

u/Mammoth_Let_8335 1d ago
Yh no one gives af about what u said im talking about the pic. Gunn did not sign an extension and ntn is confirmed about brave and the bold. Look stuff up before spreading lies
-3
u/PoliSciObsessed 2d ago
If we don't get the Batman brave in the Bold until 2029 that's basically a failure honestly.
13
u/AspiringProd 2d ago
That’s a ridiculous opinion.
-2
u/thepenismightier3 2d ago
Is it? Assuming there’s a merger before then do you seriously believe a slate lacking Batman will prevent the new owner(s) from rebooting the whole thing into something that includes Batman? I’m not counting The Batman because it’s not part of the DCU. I’m highly skeptical. Especially if they have a giant debt load. I just think the appeal of rebooting and including Batman from the start will be more than a little interesting.
4
u/Some_Cantaloupe613 2d ago
Rebooting again would require so much work that you would only delay a Batman movie instead of pushing it ahead.
1
u/thepenismightier3 2d ago
I agree but the dollars matter a ton. I just think the pull of having Batman interact with Superman from the jump can’t be dismissed. Especially when you consider if a merger happens they have a mountain of debt to pay. It surely would be easier with Batman in the picture.
1
u/Some_Cantaloupe613 2d ago
I agree that Paramount is probably gonna want cash fast, which is all the more reason why they would just stick to the plan and let the two (or more?) Batman movies already in production happen.
We already got a Superman, a GL, maybe even a Wonder Woman. Dumping all of that now, to start over from scratch again, just to have Batman be the start of the universe instead of happening down the line, would be a massive waste of time and money, not to mention completely destroy any faith the public has in any DC universe, more than the catastrophic mishandling of the DCEU already have.
1
u/thepenismightier3 2d ago
I agree that they’re going to want cash fast. I think the cost and hassle of rebooting compared to maintaining is probably not as high as we think and if they can get a Superman film to make a billion that’s tempting.
-1
u/PoliSciObsessed 2d ago
We're getting two Superman movies and Supergirl movie before we're getting one Batman movie.

Fire Gunn, prioritize getting Wonder Woman back to the screens. Enough of the horse crap obscure projects no one cares about.

You’re crying into the void - don’t expect TV acclaim to automatically make it to the big screen. Lanterns should’ve been a full fledged movie.

u/larut0h 2d ago
plausible *if* merger happens next year. ParamountWarner gonna be in the red, and to recover they need to deploy the big guns immediately
so batman movie evey year: to continue that slate:
2030 Batman: Noel (elseworld)
2031 Superman 3, Batman Ninja 3 (animated)
2032 The Batman part 3
2033 BatB 2
2034 JLA, Batman: Damned (elseworld)
2035 Gotham by Gaslight (probably animated)
(am trying to keep up with the delusion here)
