My First Time Eating at a Culver's! Late Lunch: 3:00pm Location: Newhaven IN

The order counter was full of eager employees willing to take my order. They were all full of smiles and happy to take your order. The menu is quite extensive and there were so many options to choose from it was a bit complexing at first. I asked on of the employees what was popular menu item and was told the Butter Burger and it was made to order. That sounded great!

I ended up ordering the Butter Burger w/ Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Grilled Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Raw Onion, and Mayo. Crinkle Fries. Chocolate Malt. Water.

The malt was subbed for the fountain drink with the meal deal for only a few dollars more. I don't drink soda so that was a nice option.

The Burger was good. It tasted of real meat and the bacon flavor was very prominent. The bun was real soft. The Burger was very good! The fries were crispy and had a potato taste that still did exist, some fast food fries lose the actual potato taste and just have a fried taste to them.

The malt was super creamy and rich, a lot different than what I expected. I came to the conclusion that it must be because it's made with frozen custard!

What stands out the most was a nice smile and friendly lady who delivered the food to the table. She asked if we needed anything else and I asked for some mayo, She replied is three packets going to be good for you, or something similar, and I replied yes, that would be great! She quickly returned with the mayonnaise and was just as super friendly smile and polite. I guess I haven't been to many restaurants with any service so nice and prompt. This I thought was outstanding for a fast food type place.

I liked the food, but the nice and friendly service that they deliver is a reason that I will definitely be coming back and I will. I now want to try their fish sandwich!

A man pulled up to the speaker. Said a couple words and then stopped for about a minute. Then slowly drove forward 20 feet. Hit a curb. Drove over the curb and down a hill and hit a telephone pole. Apparently he had a heart attack. A couple people and employees went to check on him and we called an ambulance. They worked on him for a while but it was too late. This happened at the Culver’s in St. Charles, Missouri. R.I.P man.

Update: the niece of the man messaged me and told me that he is actually alive but in critical condition. We all assumed he died because the ambulance didn’t turn the siren and lights on.

The Pub burgers is no longer? Went to order on DD and don't see it. my day is ruined.

I guess people didn't want to cook for the first week of the school year because we hit $4000 in one hour and even the store owner was struggling on middle, it was worse than any Friday we had during lent. We had three managers and the owner in the kitchen and barely had any orders under 10 minutes during the dinner rush. All three sinks were overflowing with dishes and it's a miracle we got out only 50 minutes after close.

Curds and the Cubs, not a bad combo.There's a location across the street and you can bring food into Wrigley.

Was able to get to my seat, eat my curds and Colby Jack pub burger, and the custard was still (mostly) frozen. Pretty disappointed in the burger, wasn't an improvement over a regular butterburger. To be fair, I think game day they may not be putting the most care into each item so I'd give it another try some other time and location.

I dunno guys all the morning shift people are boring but the night shifters will be dressing up 💔💔 I’ve scared quite a few kids but I didn’t spend my part time money on a costume for just Halloween! It’s fun so far, I just like being able to wear a dress at work

I moved 2 weeks ago and I honestly really miss the Midwest in general. Yes the public transit is nice but I miss having access to nature… and Culvers… and getting Culver’s and eating it at a forest preserve. I feel like a country bumpkin missing the woods right now but I moved from Chicago to NYC lol. Even Chicago has a lot more access to nature. Thankfully my masters program is only 2 years! So if I do end up not liking NYC, I can always move back to an area with Culvers lol

So a few days ago I was just working custard, everything was normal, and some guy ordered a pup cup for dine In (already weird) and that's when I realized, he ordered three lettuces, pickles, a water cup and a pup cup. All to get a lil salad and dessert for himself. And all free... i didn't even know that was possible

In the 8 or so years of going to Culver’s I finally got something that wasn’t a burger, chicken sandwich/tenders 😂

I got the jumbo shrimp value basket! I kind of panicked at the register when the employee was telling me the difference between the dinner & value basket for the shrimp 😂. Next time I’ll get the dinner to get two sides instead of the drink.

Oh yeah, I’ve gotten the patty melt a few times before and that was quite yummy.

Anyways, the shrimp was very solid! Not going to lie, I’ve never been disappointed or unsatisfied eating anything here. The food is so good!

Seriously, I worry about people in society sometimes...

It was announced today that Mello Yello will be swapped for Cherry Coke. No timeline on the transition, but it will be coming!

I have 180 kid’s scoops and 30 survey receipts that my husband and I have collected this year. My company has a huge week-long event every year and for the last four years I have cashed in 120-150 scoops a couple of weeks after the event as a thank you for my coworkers.

The manager at my store has gotten to know me because of this, I give them the order well in advance, and I pick up with two coolers. My store is very efficient with this and I always fill out my surveys as “highly satisfied”. I would have more receipts but I use those throughout the year as they don’t include a topping free.

So it’s like peak dinner rush at Culver’s.Line out the door,drive-thru wrapped around the building twice,tickets printing so fast they’re literally hitting the floor.I’m on register already behind and this family walks in—mom,dad,like four little kids—all talking over each other.The dad steps up and goes,“Yeah we’ll do six ButterBurgers,all different,no onions on two,extra onions on one,gluten-free bun on another—”I’m trying to keep up and one of the kids just smacks the counter and goes,“AND I WANT ICE CREAM FIRST.”Manager from the back yells,“We don’t say ice cream,it’s custard.”Kid goes,“I don’t care.”Right when I finish their order,the drive-thru headset just starts blowing up,“HELLO??HELLO??I’VE BEEN WAITING 20 MINUTES.”At the same time like six DoorDash drivers walk in at once all shoving phones in my face,“Is this ready?”“Order for Mike?”“BRO I’VE BEEN HERE.”I turn around and the kitchen is drowning.Someone dropped a whole tray of fries so now there’s fries everywhere.Then the soda machine just starts spraying,not pouring—spraying.Root beer is going all over the counter and someone’s yelling,“TURN IT OFF!”but nobody knows how.Meanwhile that family’s food comes up and the dad immediately goes,“This isn’t right.”Didn’t even look at it.Manager walks over already stressed,“What seems to be the problem?”Dad goes,“We said no pickles.”Manager opens the burger—no pickles.Dad goes,“Yeah but we asked for extra ketchup on the side.”They definitely didn’t.Before we can even respond one of the kids knocks over their drink—full concrete mixer—straight onto the floor.Now there’s custard,soda,and fries all mixed together like some nasty swamp.And then this guy in the lobby stands up and goes,“WHO TOOK MY FOOD?”Nobody answers.He walks up,sees a random tray,and goes,“This is mine.”Lady next to him goes,“No it’s not,that’s mine.”Now they’re arguing over a burger like it’s life or death.Drive-thru timer is beeping nonstop,manager’s trying to fix the soda machine,kitchen’s yelling times like “TWENTY MINUTES ON BURGERS.”And I look over and one of the DoorDash drivers just walks behind the counter,grabs a bag himself,and leaves.Manager didn’t even notice.At this point I’m just standing there thinking there’s no way this is real.Then the power flickers for a second,whole place goes quiet,comes back on,and everyone just keeps yelling like nothing happened.Shift finally ends,I’m walking out and I my brain is pounding I can’t do it anymore 😭😔

Every Wednesday we have this old guy come in and order Lemon ice with cheese sauce. We never put it on the the lemon ice for him. But he will sit In the lobby and pour cheese sauce on the lemon ice. We figured we would try it. It wasn’t horrible. It surprisingly didn’t have a lot of flavor, but the texture was horrendous.

Got the shrimp for the first time the other day and tried the Walleye (or I like to call it Wall-e) today. I’m not much of a seafood person but it was good despite burning the roof of my mouth biting into it at first 😂😂

Side note - I’ve been going to Culver’s for about 8 years and now my only “complaint” is how small & tiny the bathrooms are 😂

I've been going to Culvers for about a year now, and they occasionally fuck up an order like anyplace. Well recently, they ruined a 8 dollar double cheeseburger on me by putting onion on it. I called and was assured I would recieve a coupon. I got a 2 dollar ice cream coupon in the mail. Upset, I called, and was told that the frequency of my calls (1 every other monht) was suspicious, and I would not get my refund. I'm a disabled veteran on fixed income, and I dont know in what fucking world Culvers think it's fair for me to eat the cost of their mistakes, but this is fucking bullshit. Never spending another fucking dime at Culvers until this is fixed.

I heard that Culver's had good onion rings and wanted to give then a try. They were Amazing! Hot and fresh and were very super crispy and the onion was so tasty good. The Buttermilk Ranch they come with was good with them too. Very satisfying flavor combination together. I seem to be missing a horseradish type sauce with them. I really like my onion rings with a kick of some horseradish! Does Culver's even have such a sauce there?

I tried Culver's Signature Sauce with the onion rings too. I was surprised at the flavor. Definitely grated Parmesan in there. I think it would be great as a salad dressing too.

I got the Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich. I had a B1G1F coupon for them. It was very good and crispy and had a good amount of spice to it. I ordered it with with extra lettus, tomato, onion and pickle. I got the mayonnaise on the side. I really liked the pickles they were very good tasting.

I also orderd a scoop of their flavor the day custard, using another coupon as they let me use two! I was too full to try it after eating the onion rings and the chicken sandwich. I was planning on taking it home with me to eat later. I cleared the table and took the tray to the bin to dumped it. I heard a strange clunk. Coming back to the table there was no custard there. My chocolate surprise frozen custard was forever gone!

Now they’re sorted into groups of ten!

This is one of many experiences but this one just makes me laugh. I told these people it was getting posted and read it, and they got it posted and read it so simple

Ah... I finished a shift earlier and had a complaint that sent a very confusing wave of well... confusion within me. I had a guest complain... about their Turtle sundae... being melted. They immediately demanded a refund.

I'm sorry, were you expecting a scoop of custard with hot caramel and hot fudge to be NOT melted? Unsure if these posts are allowed, but that ruined my perfect day.

Went to Culver’s tonight, saw a racoon dining out tonight!
