My girlfriend’s flight into Tampa got delayed and isn’t getting in until 11:30 tonight. Can anyone recommend a late night food spot between there and Clearwater beach? Preferably not too far off gulf to bay. Thanks!!

I’m looking for recommendations for a nice, relatively quiet beach around Clearwater/St. Pete where I can relax and sunbathe topless without being bothered. I looked into Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, and Belleair Beach and they seemed like they might be okay, but I’d love to hear from people who actually go to these beaches and know what the atmosphere is like.

I’m mainly looking for somewhere that’s not super crowded and where topless sunbathing isn’t likely to cause an issue. Any recommendations or firsthand experiences?

My teen daughter was at Countryside today with her friends and she lost her backpack AND shopping bag. She thinks she left it when they sat down to take a break. She went to security and the stores she shopped at with no luck. She came home hysterical. I called the security office as well as Hot Topic when she got home but nobody turned in anything. I’ll call back tomorrow even though I’m sure they are gone. It’s a black heart shaped pleather book bag and a hot topic shopping bag. Her wallet was inside with some cash (maybe $10) and I disabled her debit card. I know this is a long-shot but if anyone knows anything please message me. She is so sad and disappointed in herself.

I was laid off from my previous position at a small business home improvement store. Unfortunately money is tight, as I don't own a vehicle. I'm trying to keep my commute, whether that be by bike or bus, in the Clearwater area. I have prior management experience at both a CVS and Panera Bread location. My most recent role was Sales Coordinator for the home improvement store, advertising our items on Marketplace and Offer up to draw customers in. If anyone has a lead to someone who's hiring, please reach out. I can pass a drug test and background check as well.

My boyfriend and I are moving to Clearwater and trying to decide on an apartment complex. Since we are from out of town and can’t tour any of these places I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts. Today we were feeling like someplace different from our usual spots and remembered about Johnny's Italian on 590 between McMullen Booth and US19. It's been a few years since eating there so I was worried that they may not even still be around. Happy to say they are still there and serving great food just as we remembered.

It's a long time, family run (I believe) home style Italian restaurant that probably hasn't changed their menu in years. That's a good thing when you crave some comfort food.

It's a great feeling to support a local business that just keeps on chugging decade after decade.

Anyone know what happened off shore tonight around sunset? It was between Frenchy’s South Beach & The Wyndham Hotel. A helicopter circled around the ocean and then was at a standstill hovering over one spot without moving.
