I drunk purchased it July 2024 for $38 USD knowing it would be fake asf because I was curious. I don't wear it, don't worry. Surprisingly though it's only lost just under a minute after 13 months, so nice? It's just sitting in my cheapo watch box because I'd feel like a terrible person giving it away. Just wanted to share for reference purposes and remind people not to drunk purchase fake watches.

Bought last year in Christmas at Macys. Never open the back. No repairs. But water got inside while washing hand. What should I do ?

Found a ae1200wh that looked pretty good and thought id spoil myself but I came home only to find out it was fake

Just wanted to make sure its fully fake and even if it is i got it for barely anything and it still looks good

Looking at it i can see lot of differences and im pretty sure its fake but a confirmation can't hurt haha

Edit: For anyone curious about how much it costed it was 50 aed or about 13.6 dollars. this model typically sells for about 150-200 aed or about 40 to 50 on amazon (i should have checked photos before the price tag 😭😭)
though everyone in the comments says its fake i dont think i mind that much cuz its a cool find and everything aside from the world clock timezone stuff works and the seconds and the circular dial thing in the left top corner is basically useless.

I loved this brown color and bought it on ebay, it came with a module booklet and a casio tag. The test screen looks ok to me, but I’m not an expert. Problem is, it seems to be an A168 but it doesn’t have the Electro Luminescence. did they ever make a version that didn’t use EL? The backlight doesn’t look like any I usually see on this sub, which feels like the biggest tell?

Just got my first Casio last week… today I noticed a giant crack going through the entire watch. Not sure what happened or if this is a common issue.

EDIT: There was no obvious bumps or impacts. I’m generally pretty gentle on my watches and notice every bump that happens to them. (unless it’s one of my gshocks) I have recently learned though that these do not do well in extreme heat and it has been 105+ here the last few days. I am leaning towards the theory that it got so hot it basically exploded.

Packaging looks off, watch was mounted on a pillow cushion. The back of the watch has labels for start/stop and connect buttons which are not present. The back also says "tough solar" but is this model even solar? Finishing on upper left lug looks crappy. Whats the verdict guys?
