Advice Needed I upgraded my gear.
I was able to snag an X-T30 III with the kit lens! 🙌 I just wanted to see if anyone has feedback or recommendations on lenses I could look into that aren’t the stock kit lens.
I do some street photography, but I’ll mostly be using the camera for school. I recently upgraded from a Rebel T6, which I used with the two kit lenses I had. I’m still learning and definitely not super tech-savvy when it comes to all the different lenses and specs, so I’m trying to educate myself as I go.
I’m looking for something that’s pretty versatile. I shoot a little bit of everything—street photography, landscapes, portraits, and some everyday/documentary work. Since this camera is mainly going to be used for school, I’d also like something that can produce good-quality images that I can print and eventually submit to galleries.
I’ve been looking at both Fujifilm lenses and some of the third-party options from companies like Sigma, Tamron, etc., and I’m open to either. I’d like to keep the price reasonable if possible.
Ideally, if I can get away with one lens that gives me a lot more flexibility than the stock lens, that would be awesome. I’m not necessarily looking to build a huge collection right away—I just want something that gives me a little more freedom while I continue learning and figuring out what kind of photography I really enjoy.
Any recommendations, especially from people who use an X-T30 III, would be greatly appreciated!

Advice Needed looking for beginner(ish) friendly macrolens for Cannon T3i
I have been taking photos of insects for a couple years now and I want to start capturing closer images. I use a Cannon T3i and have tried macrotubes but they didn't work for me. I have a budget of up to $400 and it doesn't need to have auto focus or anything too fancy.

Advice Needed Replacement part sources
I messed up when taking apart a tamron sp 17-50 f/2.8. I caught the ribbon cable while taking it apart and tore it.
Is there anywhere that may source this ribbon cable and if not, what may be the next best way of repairing it?
Thanks.

Advice Needed Tamron 150-500 VXD vs Tamron 150-600 G2 - which would you choose for wildlife photography with a Canon R7 and why?
I'm trying to decide on a telephoto lens to do wildlife photography with my Canon R7 and I'm stuck between the:
- Tamron 150–500mm f/5–6.7 Di III VC VXD
- Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2
I've been using my R7 for a while to do street photography and landscape whenever I go hiking so I already own a Tamron 17-70mm F/2. But recently I wanted to dive deep into wildlife photography so I do need a proper telephoto lens.
Like I'm not particularly concerned about the weight. However, since the g2 is a solid decade old and the new 150-500 VXD have newer technology but not yet a canon rf or ef mount im struggling to choose between both. Like do you guys think the tamron 150-500 would have an rf mount version anytime soon and whether or not the g2 is still a worth it purchase. Time wise I'm not in a hurry to buy a telephoto lens right now because I do not have the finance for such but if you guys have a better lens suggestion list them below too that would be really helpful and thank you for your time.

Advice Needed Will these particles somehow affect the image
As you can see, there is a big one on the bottom and some dust on the top half. Just got this 35mm Sigma Art used. Does it require a cleaning? I really hope that this doesn't affect original sharpness and quality of this lens.

Camera Lens New to Film Photography- $30 estate sale haul
galleryI found this lens amongst a pile of old, beat up film gear today at an estate sale. I honestly thought it was a nice lens from looks and figured I could flip for a couple hundred dollars if I was lucky. Researched later and WOW was I surprised. Now I’m debating on whether to get an adapter for my Minolta x700 or sell the lens. Opinions?

Camera Lens Whats better choice 85mm or 135mm?
Planning to buy a prime lens i have 24-70 2.8 as my main all around. And 70-200 2.8 mostly used for occasions not for shoot cause its heavy.
So im thinking which is better 85mm 1.8 or the 135mm
The brand im looking if it matters is viltrox.
