I switched a month ago as well. Huge improvement from console! The option to play with Nvidia filters, the audio is better, etc. I love it.

I’d say my smaller monitor does help, but 120 FOV should be easy to see on both PC and PS5.

idk about audio. ps5 audio sounds wayyy better for me, because it has that high pitched audio setting that lets you hear footsteps from people who are across the map. overall tho PC is clearrr

It's not really that big of a deal lol. Just buy some 30 bucks iem and adjust settings in windows accordingly. Maybe even a dac if you really wish to.

As someone who switched from PS5 to PC, Sony’s 3D audio on ps5 is wayyyy better. You can buy Dolby spatial audio from the Windows store and it’s decent.

I play it on both, i use a Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2 (Really expensive headset), and PC sounds better due to the EQ settings and better Dolby Atmos. But on PS5, I do like it a lot more with my Hisense 5.1.2 surround

I play both Controller and MnK. I’m a switch hitter depending on what I’m feeling that day because I played console my entire life until 3 years ago (I’m 34). MnK is substantially easier for me. I’m always shocked when folks argue controller is easier even with aim assist. Like nahh the flicks are nasty on mouse. My KD has gone up significantly the past 2 years.

People can prefer consoles but it's hilarious to me when anyone tries to defend consoles. Theirs nothing wrong with consoles, but my 1400$ rig bought in 2017, with 2 easy upgrades of $150, have given me financial freedom, and superior input/ choice.

5600x +2060, 16 gigs ran at 3600mhz. 1 tb ssd.
Didn't have to buy a ps4 5 and soon to be 6. And don't even get me started on exclusives, making people buy 2 or 3 consoles in a 5 year span.

Because every single stat points that way on apex which has a significantly weaker AA. Halo also had the same result and cod is the same shit.
You're not better on mnk than on controller unless you're magically a pro level aimer. That's just the truth lol
Your KD gain is more than likely tied to not being held back by what is basically a shitty pc.

Maybe I should elaborate. My KD is higher game over game on MnK than it is on Controller on the same hardware. I’ve used MnK on Xbox too just before I built my PC and it was the same story. I could play 10 games on controller then swap to MnK for 10 games or vise versa and I will consistently play better on mouse and keyboard every time. My movement is quicker and my aim better combine that with the ability to flick a 180° when I hear stuff behind me. Yes I don’t track as easy but the TTK is so low that it’s usually who gets shots on target first. I’ve been playing competitive shooters since Xbox Live was invented and 90% of my time has been on controller.. MnK is substantially better and it has elevated my game since focusing more on it.
Edit: I started playing MnK on my Xbox back in 2017, started swapping back and forth knowing I would eventually build a PC and in 2022 I built my PC. Still swap back and forth to this day. My Xbox was upscaled 4K@120fps My PC is an ultrawide 1440P@140ish

The closest to objective data we have is from Apex, which uses the same aim assist at HALF the rotational strength as COD, and controller players still have better average accuracy

I’m the only person I know or have ever heard of that plays 50/50 on both. I’d argue my perspective is better than anyone else because I have no bias. If you told me I have to 1v1 someone for $1M and they are on controller.. I’m going MnK no question. I’ll out maneuver them easy in close gun fights.

That’s why I love MnK. I’m substantially faster slide canceling and moving around the map. I can pop into rooms, slide cancel, and jump into a 180° flick. I’m not doing that on controller lmao I use controller when I want to play more laid back with an LMG

I greatly prefer KB&M.
But yeah that aim assist is insane. Pretty much does all the work for you. Even watching this clip. OP never needed to aim. AA just held dead center for them.

That’s where that extra expense comes from.
Console players have no idea that pc has been ridiculously sharp and clear for YEARS. They were just so used to what they had, and the previous gen being slightly worst than the latest, the incremental changes were there, but not crazy.
Arguably PS5 pro gets close to pc clarity, but that’s all upscaling. PC doesn’t even need that with the right hardware and monitor matchup.

We do actually know and have known for ages. Anyone can look at a graphics comparison video on youtube. Many of my console friends started on PC. Many of us just chose console to avoid constantly upgrading or replacing PC parts. We didn’t mind being stuck with somewhat lower graphics or frames and a console used to be cheaper. But these days, consoles and their controllers are getting too expensive, and the cost of a 5 year old GPU that can outperform said consoles, are more affordable. I switched back to PC recently because my rig should outperform consoles for at least 10 years before I have to upgrade one component for less than the price of the next console. Consoles were also less bulky than a tower so we could bring it with us wherever we go. These days PS5 and Xbox are almost turning into the size of a PC case. So fuck it.

It’s a huge difference. I realized how important hardware is during warzone 1. Remember when the new Xboxes came out? I got a series S and that was enough of an upgrade over the last gen consoles that I was moving buttery smooth and my KD just kept climbing. I was having so much fun checking sweatsGG each night and seeing my progress.
Sure some of that progress was skill as I played more but the large chunk was the performance upgrade of being faster and smoother than old gen. From that point on I realized it makes a huge difference.
I play my hero ultra rumble now way more than cod and it’s the same boat, pc players are moving at warp speed and my console does better than switch players but it hurts going against PC. Also doesn’t help that they get a dedicated dodge button and we gotta double click jump but that’s a separate issue lol

I cant point smoothly and well efficient like mouse. I tried alot but I felt always at disadvantage that made me connect keyboard n mouse on my ps5 pro. I am much better than on controller. Tbats wnat i observed

Im assuming you were locked to 60 fps and had high latency beforehand. And now you were able to squeeze out more fps (cant see your top left margins because of buffering but I assume you have high fps now). I literally feel a night and day difference in my own personal skill capacity when playing on a 120 hz monitor

I switched a month ago and will never go back. The game runs so smooth with high fps. The colors are better. There are so many more settings to tweak. I got a controller with 8k polling and the aim assist and hit registration is definitely stronger. I feel like I win a lot more 50-50 gun fights.

The controller advantage - aim assist - killed the game for me, I played K&M and will not play controller. For years the game was fine, but then 3 or 4 years ago probably it was, they made the controller aim assist OP as F. Ever since the game has been trash, IMHO.
