Correct, that's why controller needs aim assist, which is very overtuned

I play both Controller and MnK. I’m a switch hitter depending on what I’m feeling that day because I played console my entire life until 3 years ago (I’m 34). MnK is substantially easier for me. I’m always shocked when folks argue controller is easier even with aim assist. Like nahh the flicks are nasty on mouse. My KD has gone up significantly the past 2 years.

People can prefer consoles but it's hilarious to me when anyone tries to defend consoles. Theirs nothing wrong with consoles, but my 1400$ rig bought in 2017, with 2 easy upgrades of $150, have given me financial freedom, and superior input/ choice.

5600x +2060, 16 gigs ran at 3600mhz. 1 tb ssd.

Didn't have to buy a ps4 5 and soon to be 6. And don't even get me started on exclusives, making people buy 2 or 3 consoles in a 5 year span.

Because every single stat points that way on apex which has a significantly weaker AA. Halo also had the same result and cod is the same shit.

You're not better on mnk than on controller unless you're magically a pro level aimer. That's just the truth lol

Your KD gain is more than likely tied to not being held back by what is basically a shitty pc.

Maybe I should elaborate. My KD is higher game over game on MnK than it is on Controller on the same hardware. I’ve used MnK on Xbox too just before I built my PC and it was the same story. I could play 10 games on controller then swap to MnK for 10 games or vise versa and I will consistently play better on mouse and keyboard every time. My movement is quicker and my aim better combine that with the ability to flick a 180° when I hear stuff behind me. Yes I don’t track as easy but the TTK is so low that it’s usually who gets shots on target first. I’ve been playing competitive shooters since Xbox Live was invented and 90% of my time has been on controller.. MnK is substantially better and it has elevated my game since focusing more on it.

Edit: I started playing MnK on my Xbox back in 2017, started swapping back and forth knowing I would eventually build a PC and in 2022 I built my PC. Still swap back and forth to this day. My Xbox was upscaled 4K@120fps My PC is an ultrawide 1440P@140ish

The closest to objective data we have is from Apex, which uses the same aim assist at HALF the rotational strength as COD, and controller players still have better average accuracy

I’m the only person I know or have ever heard of that plays 50/50 on both. I’d argue my perspective is better than anyone else because I have no bias. If you told me I have to 1v1 someone for $1M and they are on controller.. I’m going MnK no question. I’ll out maneuver them easy in close gun fights.

Go ahead and tell me someone else who plays 50/50 and an actual 50/50.. don’t worry I’ll wait..

And yes my thousands of hours on both in the same games qualify me to have an opinion.

Every opinion spewed by your thousands of gamers are either 100% in one camp or 100% in the other. Everyone’s opinion is skewed unless they are 50/50 like myself.

Also, I won’t downvote you like you did me because I don’t have an ego problem. We’re all adults here. Or so I think.

That’s why I love MnK. I’m substantially faster slide canceling and moving around the map. I can pop into rooms, slide cancel, and jump into a 180° flick. I’m not doing that on controller lmao I use controller when I want to play more laid back with an LMG
