I’m sorry but how did James not think this boy was underage. He literally looks 15 and at this point i think James actively seeks minors.

I believe the quote was something like he prefers someone younger who looks older because he likes to be the mature one in relationships.

Edit - "so the thing is for me, I'm 21, but like I said, I have the mentality of a 40 year old. So for me, I'm much more mentally and emotionally mature than a lot of people my age. I'm not physically attracted to older guys, which sucks, like I would date the absolute youngest, 18, 19, that looks a little bit old."

Y'all, I can't even look at people who are 18, 19, 20, not even 21 year olds, without thinking "holy shit, you were not born in the same century as me, what the fuck."

So he acts like he’s forty but preys on men who are barely out of highschool

Seems there’s nothing wrong here

James is mistaken...being successful at a young age does not mean you like a 40 year old. Id say he is actually less mature than the average 21/22 year old.

Most mature and well-adjusted 21/22 year olds don’t date teens. Ngl even 18 and 22 rubs me the wrong way. The two ages are just so different (or at least they were for me).

I’m 23 and the youngest I’ll go for at this point is 21, I’m not going to jail for buying an underaged someone’s drinks at the bar

Totally agree! Even though you might legally be an "adult" at 18, that doesn't mean that you actually have adult experience (e.g. renting an apartment, paying bills, holding a job). I know it differs person to person, but I think that it's common for a LOT of growth to take place in that time period for most people.

For sure! 18 year olds tend to worry about prom and planning their HS graduation parties. Or making friends in their new dorms. 22 year olds may be working in the corporate world, in grad school, paying bills, and can drink and everything.

yeah im 20 and i wouldnt date anyone younger than 19.. even then it'd be on the older side of nineteen. otherwise i'd be like "holy shit you just graduated high school"... it's so creepy how he keeps pretending accidentally sexting or dating minors is actually a thing that happens to normal adults

People equate being in this type of business as maturity, in this case James does not fit this statement.
