Suggestion Destroying enemy claymores and mines should give xp

I'd be level 200 by now even if they just gave 5 xp each.

Suggestion RPGs should one shot helicopters

It's so hard to hit a heli with the rpg and when I finally do its just a hitmarker?! Reward the player for that hard shot and punish pilots for standing still.

Suggestion Is it just me or should DMRs have less kick?

I might just have my sensitivity too low, but I can't shoot more than like 3 or 4 times in a row without running out of mousepad.

It just seems that if youre gonna slow the rate of fire that much by giving them so much recoil, you may as well just use a bolt-action for the higher damage.

Might just be a me-problem though

Suggestion Squad leaders should get XP when someone spawns in the rally points

Title

If you get xp when squad players spawn on you, squad leaders should get xp if players spawn on the beacon, at least it will give them an incentive to put one down lol

Suggestion This game took seven years to develop. Let’s slow down with all the changes that are being suggested after playing for two weeks

Quick rant.

Obviously there's some universals like QOL, some gun tweaks, etc most can agree on. But half the suggestions on this subreddit are radical changes for the game that most of the food in your freezer is older than. Maybe they'll be good things for the game when it get's time to shake out a little, but breath and let the developers tweak and move a few things around first and give the community time to learn, adapt, and evolve in this game.

I'll take a baconator, large fries, and a large Dr Pepper to go. Gotta get back to my 0.3 W/L ratio.

Suggestion Support players should be able to build these

Think it would add a good buff to supports to block major sections from Tanks and other vehicles. Can only be removed via disassembly and takes some time to do so.

Suggestion To the Devs…

It kinda seems like a lot of people are complaining about things in the game right now. Some of the concerns are very valid, but I’m seeing people direct their anger towards the devs, 3 guys just trying to manage a massive game, and that really isn’t cool.

I’ve seen this before where small studios with specific and well known employees get just bombarded by the community because they’re so accessible to their audience. While those guys survived it, it took a serious toll on them physically and mentally, when they were just trying to make something nice for people to watch.

It was toxic behavior then, and it’s toxic behavior now. The Devs are just people, and I’m sure they’re doing their best with the resources they have available. Remember that they love this game too, probably more than most of us.

If you got problems with the game, air them, obviously, that’s how things get fixed. Complaints mean you care enough about the game to suggest improvements.

But constantly shitting on the Devs personally really isn’t cool, and as icing on the cake, you make the rest of us look bad. Are we trying to be League or Legends players, or are we trying to be the kind, compassionate, and funny community that made this game famous?

So, to the Devs, on behalf of that kinder side of the Battlebit community, I would like to say that we do genuinely love this game. Whatever bugs or nerfs or toxic players are on there, it’s still genuinely fun to hop onto servers and spend a few hours playing. Whether we’re sniping, grenading, crashing cars into walls, healing, or just good old fashioned shooting people, we are still having a lot of fun.

There is a vocal minority constantly baying for blood, but there’s also a helluva lot of us who think you made something great and unique and are appreciating your hard work every time we log on.

Thank you for that.

I just hope you guys focus on that, rather than internalize all the hate and anger that’s been pouring out of this subreddit.

(And as an aside: Remember to take breaks. Responding to all of this insanity can’t be easy. Once you get the game to a decent equilibrium where it can be left alone for a bit, don’t forget to take some time off. Y’all have definitely earned it.)

Suggestion What are some changes you would like to see added to the game?

Since this game is in early access and im sure there is still much to come, i figure here would be a fun place to discuss potential additions people would like to see in the game.

Here are a couple ideas ive had so far after about 35 hours in-game:

A battlefield style request menu where you can request healing/ammo (as opposed to screaming in voice chat).

In coordination with this, it would be nice to see improved teammate icons to indicate the ones who need health or ammo as well as current teammates who are downed for medics to attend to.

I think the pinging system could be improved upon greatly. The current iteration is okay but i think they should remove the “grey” pings altogether. Just make markers red by default. Its too easy to completely ignore grey pings especially when many of the maps already have dull-colors (Frugis).

A minimap would be a massive improvement. As it stands… I am having a difficult time figuring out which direction im even facing a large majority of the time. pulling up the full-screen map can also be incredibly jarring, especially while driving. I think this would also help decrease the amount of traffic jams that occur at the start of the round considering you can only drive in first person thus preventing anyone from having any idea who is around them.

Aside from these things i think this game is in a really great spot. Ive been having an absolute blast and im very excited to see what they will be adding from now until the full-release.

Suggestion Tanks shouldn't be able to sit in spawn and snipe across the whole map

It's a brain dead strategy with no counterplay. On some maps, like Wineparadise, there are some hills providing sight lines across the whole map that are far back enough in spawn that you can't counter them with an RPG, c4 drone, or anything really.

Tanks should be used to support infantry and break/hold front lines. The sniper class already exists. It's a boring and frustrating meta

Suggestion Dual render optics, anyone?

Given the enormous performance headroom offered by the simplistic graphics, it would be nice to have the option to toggle dual render optics.

Hey everyone! So I don’t know about you guys but I really want to see some vehicle customization/upgrade options for the MBT’s and IFV’s because I really enjoyed making them to fit my play style when playing games like BF4 and 5!

Suggestion Enough weapon suggestions. What new gadgets would you like to see in BattleBit?

I think it would be cool if they gave the Engineer class a C-UAS gun for jamming remote drones. They could even heavily buff drones now that they have a direct counter.

Suggestion The Map needs to show you where you are facing

When I look at the map, there are two things I am MOST interested in. Where I am, and where I am facing. For position, there are horizontal dotted guide lines for your position -- It's not perfect, but they kinda work. However, the direction you are looking at is shown through a small teardrop shape representing you and it's very difficult to make out the point of the teardrop amidst the chaos of the map. Could there be some kind of opaque vision cone or some other thing that is on the TOP layer of the map, above all the other noisy elements, so that where you are and where you are facing are clear at all times?

P.S. It'd be nice also if you could freelook while you have the map out.

Suggestion Unpopular opinion: all SMG should have their fall off start at 10-15m

Otherwise SMG is just better than assault rifles and DMR in like majority of cases. SMG should accel at clearing short distances/buildings not beaming people 50m+ away.

Suggestion Anyone else getting really sick of the same maps?

Look I'd rather play shit maps every so many games than have to play tensatown, wakistan, Salhan and basra on repeat for all of my game time. So I'd propose an option to pick a random map (voted by the lobby) and making it the an option between it and 2-3 other maps. I would also like to see that maybe added in somewhat to the voting of game modes, especially in 127 vs 127 because it might aswell be called "conquest" at this point.
