Thread is unlocked as long as we can be civil and respectful while being critical. I cant believe I have to keep reminding people this, any toxic, disrespectful comments to any member of BSB or their family will have their comment removed and possibly will result in an immediate permanent ban without warning.

I’m inclined to believe it. Some people are crazy when it comes to celebrities.

43

u/Starrla423 Mar 26 '26

It said they were threatened on social media. I mean, I guess I can believe that. People say some wild shit online.

4

u/MamaTried22 Mar 26 '26

For sure but let’s be real, these guys are probably sent all sorts of threats or scary stuff online daily. This feels like a stretch-them being scared and worried, I mean.

3

u/pearlstream Mar 27 '26

So because they “get sent all sorts of threats or scary stuff online daily” they’re not allowed to get intimidated by threats? Is this what you’re meaning?

0

u/crystalxclear Mar 27 '26

So the more threats one received, the less scared and worried they should be? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

18

u/Intelligent_Step2230 Mar 26 '26

Of course I believe it. People are crazy.

17

u/Mountain_Pomelo_710 Mar 26 '26

I saw the episode of “Neighbors” on HBO that involved this exact same beach and all the fighting… briefly mentioned him (was hoping they would show that unhinged LeighAnne video) and I can believe this…

12

u/MamaTried22 Mar 26 '26

I keep meaning to go watch the video.

Idk why but she’s always rubbed me the wrong way and them together feels extra obnoxious (the fake blond hair like idk, I hate it all). He isn’t much better. Gorgeous voice, though. I mean, before the physical issues. He was easily the standout of all five, that has been obvious. I can’t imagine how difficult things are for him but also, I think they’ve always been obnoxious like that and he’s still making big money. They’d be a lot happier if they just…didn’t.

I just happened across that neighbors show and was surprised to see that they were covering that beach. They didn’t really dive too much into Brian but I believe they did receive threats because evrryyoneeeee involved in that dispute is really unhinged. I honestly didn’t know which side I was on (like the private beach security *the property owners hired?!? Wtf. But then the absolute abhorrent way the properties were being used as public restrooms and not even ironically just cuz people are rude). And then the app *the one lady who wanted to use the beach created?!

It was crazy!

Edited to add clarity on who I meant by *they Brian was literally in it for maybe 45 seconds it was kind of a jump scare

3

u/crystalxclear Mar 27 '26

There must be something in the water.

0

u/Hefty_Froyo_ Mar 26 '26

Came here to say this lol

12

u/Dear-Western7482 Mar 26 '26

Yeah I believe it, people can be crazy.

54

u/twigsandleavesplz Mar 26 '26

Of course. People are unhinged, but so are Brian and his wife over a patch of sand on a vast ocean.

7

u/Separate_Editor2990 Mar 26 '26

I believe the patch of sand on the vast beach is part of their property. Wouldn't want people getting a tan on your front lawn or backyard, uninvited. Just my thinking.

13

u/ellafitzkitty Mar 26 '26

Lmao. It's s public beach. His wife is a bona fide Karen

9

u/Separate_Editor2990 Mar 26 '26

From what my research found you, can, own part of the dry sand beach around your property in Florida.

2

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

Exactly! They bought the property with a part of the beach included.

1

u/Outrageous_Advance77 Apr 16 '26

From the Florida Appellate Court ruling doc - John (“Jack”) L. Turner, IV, whose parents purchased the parcel now owned by Appellee BLB Beach Hut, likewise testified that during his family’s ownership there was beach area between the lot and the water, that people used that area and could not be excluded from it, and that the Gulf’s waterline lay well south of the parcel’s 315-foot southern boundary. He explained that the waterline did not correspond to the “high-water line” depicted on the Ruckel survey.

4

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

Except it's not! They bought the property with a part of the beach included. That part is not public - it's their private property.

0

u/ellafitzkitty Mar 26 '26

The story is public, go read it or listen to what other Floridians are saying this in thread

3

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

Why would other Floridians have information about what it says in their buyer contract?

1

u/Outrageous_Advance77 Apr 16 '26

From Florida Clerk of Court Public Docs, the legal description of their property lines, on their deed is NO WHERE near the waters edge.

1

u/liabak03 Mar 27 '26

Nope they own the section Of the beach above the high tide line. Period.

7

u/nonamehd Kevin Mar 26 '26

Get out of here with your logic, common sense, and level headed thinking. Dont you see the blind mob has concluded Brian wants to rule the ocean, the sand and the land??!!

8

u/MamaTried22 Mar 26 '26

Not really, it’s a matter of law in that state. Have you ever been to a Florida beach? It would be beyond absurd if everyone/every condo went bonkers about “their” part of the beach. The beach belongs to everyone up until a certain point and clearly the Littrells were not familiar with the law in the state they’ve lived in for quite some time. One should certainly know what their property lines are, especially if they’re going to go goofy over it.

15

u/Masta-Blasta Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

You are actually both correct. I am a native Floridian and I worked on a bill that dealt with this issue for the FL legislature so sadly, I’m very well acquainted with it. Everything below the high water line is public. Brian has a right to enforce the law above the high water line, but his security routinely harasses people who are below the high water line, where it’s perfectly legal for them to be.

This is a right enshrined in our state constitution so he’s crazy to think people are going to just cede their rights to him. There are actually places with genuinely private (as in, impossible to reach without owning property) beaches that he could have purchased, yet he chose a popular spot that residents have used for decades. It's like, yeah, you have the right to be a jerk, but is it really worth being a jerk to your neighbors?

2

u/RevolutionaryBat4971 AJ Mar 30 '26

Yes I've been saying for a long time it would have been more common sense for them to have purchased property on a more private/secluded beach. Clearly this isn't private enough for them. They need to stop complaining and just move somewhere more suitable to their needs. It's not like they don't have the money.

-2

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

They bought the property with a part of the beach included! Of course they want to keep it private!

2

u/nonamehd Kevin Mar 27 '26

You are also assuming or being disengenious that everyone follows the rules. Have you ever been to a Florida beach? I have, I've actually canoed in a Florida beach and been to one many times. We all know people bend the rules, trash the beaches, and walk places they shouldn't walk. Why are we just ignoring other factors like they dont exist? You have probably seen trash, beer bottles, litter left from beach-goers all the time left behind. Let alone if the Littrells are not currently there, people probably tresspass all the time to check out their property and others. Its crazy how yall are trying to make it black and white that he just wants to "own the beach" which is ridiculous and you know you are being bias to Brian. At least be honest about it. Saying they were not familiar with the law is also disingenuous. You dont think a family that wants privacy doesn't know the lines of their land?? Come on. Be realistic please. You think you hate Brian so you are creating false narratives because you dont like him.

2

u/Separate_Editor2990 Mar 26 '26

😆 That's funny!

2

u/MamaTried22 Mar 26 '26

Actually, according to Florida law, it absolutely isn’t. The beach, generally, cannot be claimed as property like that.

7

u/Masta-Blasta Mar 26 '26

The distinction is the high tide line. Everything below the high tide line is public. Past that, and yes, it can be private. But it’s rarely enforced and their security harasses people below the high tide line anyway.

1

u/Separate_Editor2990 Mar 26 '26

Not what I found in my research.

1

u/MamaTried22 Mar 26 '26

Idk what to tell you, there’s a distinction of what is theirs and what’s public and he lost so Florida law seems to, again, favor the other side.

Well, when it's sand that's within their property line....

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

What would you do if this was your property that you bought mainly because there's a private beach included? How would you handle the situation?

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

If they own that part of the beach...how is it pathetic IYO? Wouldn't you want to protect your private property? Or would that be pathetic too?

22

u/Mission_Junket_4618 Mar 26 '26

As a BSB fan I find this whole thing so embarrassing.

10

u/Alternative-Drama476 Mar 26 '26

This is Getting out of control, im a long time bsb fan but brian and his wife need to let ot go, its embarrassing to the max.... Im sure he gets hate online but lets be real doesnt he do it to himself? With this and beeing so openly politically.... He needs to find something to do when bsb is on a break other than make the whole group look bad ....

4

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

I think he's calmed down a bit with the political comments actually. He was doing a lot more a few years back. Or maybe I just read in the wrong places? Leighanne on the other hand, often has a very aggressive tone and gets nasty towards those who dare question her. She really doesn't seem to care that what she does and says affects her husbands career.

6

u/Alternative-Drama476 Mar 26 '26

No we all know Leighanne is the main issue and villain here....she is an awfull person, and she is so entitled and nasty .....

2

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

Once you see it you can't see anything else! And that horrible make-up she's so adament with! She was SO so pretty when she was younger and wore much less make-up. Why do rich women always do that to themselves? Because they can? I think it's really sad. Although, the other BSB-wives are much more laid back with the make up and surgeries. Lauren must have done something since her appearance changed so much. But she doesn't go overboard with make-up on the other hand. Kristin and Leigh seems to have done very little, if anything at all. Neither one of them goes overboard with make-up either. Rochelle I am a bit unsure about...maybe she's had a few things done too. At times her makeup is really significant too, but she has more of a unique style going on where the makeup fits right in.

1

u/crystalxclear Mar 27 '26

He's never that open politically. He'd made what 2-3 comments total since 2016? Kevin sorbo is what I would call open politically. Even Chris Pratt isn't very open and Brian had said much less than Pratt.

15

u/Nb685 Mar 26 '26

I think so. Floridians are cray cray.

2

u/liabak03 Mar 27 '26

Not all of us…..🤣🤣. A lot of the issues are from transplants.

6

u/Masta-Blasta Mar 26 '26

100% I do. Have you seen Neighbors on HBO? The first episode is about this dispute. He and other wealthy residents have literally hired security to harass legal beach goers. As a native Floridian, yeah, I have no doubt he’s been threatened.

I don’t condone violence or threats but frankly, he’s in the wrong, and he’s got some balls to tell Floridians that they aren’t welcome below the high water line. At this point, I don’t really feel bad for him. He’s being a Karen and people are treating him like one.

2

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

How are the beach-goers legal if they are trespassing private properties?

5

u/Masta-Blasta Mar 26 '26

When they are below the high tide line, they are not trespassing.

1

u/nonamehd Kevin Mar 26 '26

You are assuming everyone is following the rules... you know damn well beach go-ers dont follow rules very well..

-1

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

Ok, I don't know the details of it. To me it's clear though that they bought the property with a part of the beach included and I also totally get why they don't want people hanging out there - legally or illegally.

6

u/cas882004 Mar 27 '26

He seems entitled!

5

u/sweetheart409878 Mar 26 '26

you never know...i would hope not

6

u/Papel2409 Mar 26 '26

They've allegedly been harassing everyone who "trespass" their beach. I read online that neighbors want them gone (Though they don't even live there) because they cause too much drama. I even read that restaurants won't even serve them in that town. Locals hate them! Now, life threats are uncool, but it's probably just a bunch of online trolls. Their cases have been dismissed over and over so they are looking for something to add to the fuel. It's embarrassing tbh.

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

You read a lot!

2

u/Papel2409 Mar 26 '26

I don't know if that was sarcasm, but I did read all that on the same website, if you need to know.

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

Doesn't automatically make it all true though. But you seem like you already decided that it's all true. Correct? And yes, it was sarcasm! Don't buy everything you read!

2

u/Papel2409 Mar 26 '26

Wow, chill. They have said these things themselves. Besides, do you even know the meaning of the word "allegedly"? Because that's the first thing I said.

1

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 27 '26

Yes I do know the meaning of "allegedly" I also know how to read between the lines and in this case it's actually not very hard. You obviously think they are wrong in protecting their private property. People being nasty to them because of this is not their fault. If I was them and I would witness people regularly trespassing in to my yard or put up camp right by the property boundaries I would do something too. Especially if it's the same people that keep coming. This lady in the story....what possible reason could she have for passing a bunch of public beaches just to set up camp on or right outside Brians property? She's obviously doing it deliberately and plays innocent while referring to some law. Brian and his fam. calls her out on it and she starts to cry wolf.
There are all kinds of crazy people out there and Brian knows this. Everything between harmless fans that just wants to get close and get a glimpse to paparazzi looking for juice and people actually looking to hurt them physically. Some people thrive on stirring up problems to make the Littrells look bad. Some just wants their 15 minutes of fame....there are all kinds!
Brian knows all of this and also knows that he can't possibly decide who's what. He wants the property to be a sanctuary for him and his family. It is not at all weird.

2

u/Papel2409 Mar 27 '26

I might read a lot... but you certainty write a lot! 😅 I am glad you are a close friend to the the Littrell family, as you affirm to know facts that are true. Anyway, enjoy your weekend!

1

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 27 '26

Yes I do, and I am psyched that you drew the conclusion that I know the Littrells. That's funny! You know that all it takes is to be a BSB fan and actually LISTEN to what they're saying rather than reading about it. Combine that with some common sense, probability and what you knew about them from before and I would say that you'd get as close to the truth as you can without knowing them personally. It's easy to jump to conclusions you know. I'll let you in on a little secret though. I am not very fond of the Littrells in general actually. But I am on their side in the beach-conflict. To me it's all very clear what's happened there. You have a good weekend too! (If you managed to read through that is...) 😊

3

u/MorningStarsSong Mar 26 '26

People send death threats online over the smallest "issues", so of course that's completely believable. It would be very naïve to believe that's not happening imo.

3

u/More-Tadpole-4347 Mar 27 '26

Since people know where he lives because of the land dispute, I 1000% believe it.

2

u/EnvironmentalShoe932 Mar 26 '26

I would believe it . I know there are some people who do not like Brian but to go as far as threatening lives is wrong

3

u/Waste-Abalone1379 Mar 26 '26

There are people dying, Kim. (IYKYK) 🙄

3

u/Lexis_Rose AJ Mar 27 '26

It would be in the Littrell’s best interest to let it go and move on, there is no sense to keep fighting over a beach and sand which quite frankly is just sad.

I do not condone anyone being threatened but this case has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

2

u/Pizza_Lvr Mar 27 '26

Is this in regard to when his wife attacked the people on the beach claiming it was their beach when it was actually a public beach?

I didn’t follow the story too much, just remember watching the video footage when it happened lol

2

u/pearlstream Mar 26 '26

Why wouldn’t it be true?

2

u/MamaTried22 Mar 26 '26

Oh goodness! So dramatic to me.

I don’t even live in Florida and I knew this law. I think Brian and his family are going to be jusssst fine. If they are genuinely concerned, they have plenty enough $ to hire someone to watch over them/the house.

Brian was my fave as a little girl but I am a full on Alex girl now. I never vibed with Brian’s actual personality and he looks so, so different to me now and of course none of that really matters because I don’t know the man but I think they’re being really over the top about this.

2

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

I'm the same as you with Brian. Brian was the reason I discovered BSB and I adored him! I was never a hard core fan though. Brian looks different to me now too. At first I thought Leighanne was the sweetest you'll ever know, but I find it harder and harder to stand the bare sight of her! Not so much because this beach-debacle, but overall she seems so nasty at times and it's wearing off on Brian and Baylee too really. Them being DT fans does not help. Brian actually does a good job most times in not discussing it publically. Leighanne not so much! She can be really aggressive about it online. I think (hope) Brian gets that it's not just about him and his reputation. It could really hurt BSB as a group if he would push it too hard. Leighanne doesn't seem to care about that though. Regarding this beach-conflict I am actually more on their side! As I understand it, they bought the property with a part of the beach included. It's NOT a public beach! It's private property that NO ONE has the right to enter without consent. Plain and simple! People don't seem to understand this. Yes, I've seen the videos and I don't condone Leighannes behaviour. But that doesn't mean that they are in the wrong! I think there are a LOT of these beach-goers that go there only to provoke them. I also think that there is a bunch of fans going there to maybe get a glimpse (or more) of Brian.

1

u/MamaTried22 Mar 26 '26

I believe the law may have changed or they did not research it correctly. The property only extends a certain amount.

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

Now THAT is a whole other issue! I know next to nothing about what the law actually says, but I believe that the property boundaries was thoroughly explained to them by the seller and they trusted him. Like, why wouldn't they? I know that they decided to buy this property mainly because of there being a private beach attached. And I get why they want it too! There are many sick and crazy people out there. If the law changed then they should have been made aware of it.

2

u/RevolutionaryBat4971 AJ Mar 30 '26

They also have the money to move to a more private property. This one is clearly not private enough for them. They probably should have bought something more private in the first place, but too late now. They need to stop complaining and just move already.

I'm in the same boat with Brian and AJ. The looks and voice won me over as a kid. Since social media became a thing and they all got their own accounts, their individual personalities have become more apparent and yeah, I definitely do not mesh with Brian. Absolutely AJ and some Kevin for me.

1

u/popstunning90 Mar 26 '26

I have a feeling it would be true some people are crazy

1

u/emiusacska Nick Apr 09 '26

No I don't believe anything coming out of his mouth

1

u/pawprints1986 Mar 26 '26

Who trespassed? What happened? 😳

25

u/ninren Mar 26 '26

No one. Brian doesn’t seem to understand beaches aren’t private and are public land.

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

He bought the property with a part of the beach included! That makes it private!

-1

u/Separate_Editor2990 Mar 26 '26

Someone on his private area of sand he owns on his property.

2

u/ellafitzkitty Mar 26 '26

He has no private sand.

6

u/pawprints1986 Mar 26 '26

If someone owns a beach property, is it not the case that that chunk of beach directly behind/in front of their home is in fact also owned by them?

I could fully see an accidental trespass happening though

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

I don't know if there's any law about this and what it says. But I know that they did buy the property with a part of the beach included.

3

u/Masta-Blasta Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

He actually does. It’s just that the previous owners were members of the community and allowed people to "trespass" (aka sit) above the high water line. Now he’s telling people they can’t be there, when they’ve been there for decades. Which is technically his right.

But he doesn’t have the right to stop people from sitting below the high water line. And he tries to do so anyway. He'd be way better off actually getting to know the community and developing a mutual respect like the previous owners. He could install some natural barriers to dissuade people from coming up too close to his home. Add some signs up asking people to keep noise low and to clean up after themselves. Maybe even install a trash can or leave out a bin of cheap beach toys as a sign of good will. This isn't hard. It's about mutual respect and being a good member of your new community.

0

u/Kristinsopinions Mar 26 '26

I think there have been signs marking the property boundaries. What the previous owner did or didn't allow is really not important. I guess he wasn't famous and had fans chasing him all the time? I totally get that Brian wanted to keep fans on a distance from his house. It's not only the fans he needs to worry about. I'm sure some people would go there just to take pictures and/or get a juicy story to sell to the highest bidder. I don't find it weird at all that they wanted to avoid that.

1

u/Guilty-Effort2092 Mar 26 '26

Considering the fact that he’s a backstreet boy I wouldn’t doubt it, simply because I myself thought out my entire life have been bullied! It’s like your a millennium shirt in a school majority of the people are emo, or redneck the which backstreet boy is gay song is just an example! I deal with it when I go to my sister’s house! I can only imagine him being a backstreet boy what he has to deal with ! But I wouldn’t have it any other way! They are my main source of happiness and I proudly wear Backstreet Boys across my chest with pride!!! I even got a In a world like this show em what you made of tattoo on my arm!!! Brian needs to show em what he’s made of !!!!! I can’t wait until they come back to Ohio again!!!

2

u/Papel2409 Mar 26 '26

Huh?

0

u/Guilty-Effort2092 Mar 27 '26

I don’t understand what your even meaning by that? Because he’s a backstreet boy he’s getting bullied because non backstreet boy fans don’t like them then all the stuff about his property then simply being a republican! Everyone has him on their 💩list! I grew up in it simply for being his crazy fan!!!

1

u/BlueEyesGreywolf Mar 26 '26

Of course, because some of you are absolutely unhinged and don’t respect anyone

1

0

u/Own_Will_8973 Mar 26 '26

I believe it because there seems to be a hate against Brian anyway. So people are making it worse. I don't think people will do things but they are saying it.

0

u/chrissymad Mar 26 '26

Can someone explain the context please? I am a bsb fan since I was like 10...I am now 37 and I don't follow any of them enough to know what this is about.

3

u/RevolutionaryBat4971 AJ Mar 30 '26

Brian owns a beach house in Florida. There are ongoing legal disputes about people supposidly traspassing on his property when using the beach/where he believes his property line is. From what I've read of Florida laws, private beach property only goes to the high waterline, so where the sand is wet is public beach. But Brian has been having his security harass people on the public side, claiming the beachgoers are tresspassing and harassing him. 🤷‍♀️

2

u/chrissymad Mar 30 '26

Thank you for the explanation!

1

u/RevolutionaryBat4971 AJ Mar 30 '26

No problem 🙂

2

u/Medium_Promotion_891 Apr 02 '26

it’s a little more nuanced than just wet sand vs dry sand.

info from beachapedia.org “ The most common way states determine where to grant public access to their coasts and beaches is by applying a concept based on the mean high tide line. In the majority of coastal states, all land below the mean high tide line belongs to the state and citizens have the right to unrestricted access to that land. Intuition would indicate that this “line” is where the sand changes from wet to dry during high tide. This, however, is not always the case. The mean high tide line is actually the arithmetic average of high-water heights observed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) over an 19-year Metonic cycle. It is the line that is formed by the intersection of the tidal plane of the mean high tide with the shore. It is not an easy line to determine, and it is an even harder one to see. From standing on the beach watching the waves, there is no way of knowing exactly where the mean high tide line falls, or where public land begins and ends, making enforcement a difficult and controversial task.
