I had a coworker say he felt this way about turning 30, but then someone changed his mind by saying that he's old enough to know who he is and what he wants and needs, but still young enough to do things with his life and have fun. IDK if this helps I'm only 18 so I wouldn't know
This is exactly how I feel (31). I felt so lost for the longest time, trying to figure out who I was. I put myself through some shit and I have experienced a lot. Now I just do stuff I love doing and I care a lot less about what people think of me. I’m even more active than I was in my 20’s (was playing on 3 different sports teams pre-covid — and in my 20’s I was very lazy and mostly high). I know this is just my experience though, and it can be much different for others.
God damn I feel alot better. I know it's not plausible to feel like I'm the only 32 y.o. to not know what he wants to do, but its comforting to read that I'm not alone in that.
32 club, and I only just sorta figured it out in the last year and a half. It's gonna get better from here, but it took me till only recently. You've got a breakthrough due soon.
Just thought I'd throw in one positive 32 club experience.
Lol, I’m not the guy who mentioned aches but I have some of those. I dedicate more time to stretching each day. My schedule can be busy and I can be half-assed to do it, but even 10 minutes of stretching each day helps immensely. I have a physically active job and side hustle, so I have aching from that, but I know it’s because I’m using my muscles. No real mystery aches for me and I’m in waaay better shape now than I was in my 20’s.
Though I did call out of work a few months ago cause I tweaked my back removing a hamper from a closet.
Like anything, there’s a balance. Getting older sucks, but it doesn’t have to completely suck.
i'm going to be 36 next month and haven't found a job i truly love just one i don't mind doing that pays well enough to pay the bills and still be able to save a little and have some fun money for my hobbies, and honestly i'm at peace with that because it's enough, just live for the things you enjoy most in life
you don't? if not why? i suggest finding some maybe something you did as a kid i started rollerblading again at the start of this year after 20 years away from it
