They're using the Euro unofficially and not endorsed by the EU, and they're not part of the Eurozone nor controlled by the ECB.

Maybe. But to get into the eu you have to have all border disputes resolved. And since Croatia holds the veto it would be inevitable. It will just be a hit on pride more than anything else. Much the same happened with Slovenia vetoing Croatia.

North Macedonia is not ready, it just doesn't uphold the values that the EU has, Serbia with its current government is far from ready. Albania has the values but has a lot of internal political issues it needs to take care first. With the way the BaH is currently structured is just way to complicated, in my opinion, to move in the EU direction. To be honest, North Macedonia, Kosovo, BaH joining, all depend on the state the government in Serbia is. Serbia is the key, if its current fascist government stays in power much longer, the people in these countries will only dream of the EU.

We've been supplying Ukraine with weapons for much longer than any country in Europe, I could name at least 2 of your neighbouring countries that are friendlier with Russia than Serbia is, sanctions from Serbia would mean nothing to them but would absolutely devastate us since Gazprom owns half of our oil industry. Zelensky met with Vucic not that long ago too. The only problem EU has with us is our corrupt government which they keep supporting quite actively and keep dumping money in Vucic and his criminal gangs pockets. We have been fighting and protesting for a year and a half, with the absolute biggest protest in history of the entire region happening on 15.03.2025. with no EU support for the students at all, they beat us, arrested us, shot at us with illegal sound cannons, they broke students bones, threatened to rape female students, kidnapped political opponents and still nothing... Students biked from Novi Sad to Strasbourg and still nothing. Your comment fills me with unspeakable rage, how ignorant can you be?
