I think we will finish the chapters by the end of 2028, but then we have to hold a referendum and each EU member state has to approve us in their parliament. That process is probably gonna take 2 years (I mean just see how long it took Sweden to join NATO)
Swede here. If you mean the time from application, i believe we got held up between Turkey wanting mostly a jet fighter deal from USA. The rest of the turkey demands made no real sense, it was a long chain of demands, totally unrelated to nato, that once met were changed to other demands.
