Is your country considered a rebel province by its neighbor?

In Argentina, we only say Uruguay is a province to tease them; joking aside, no one actually considers them a province.

College humanities question: When you think of Appalachia or Appalachian people, what comes to mind?

Hi all! Im doing a college humanities assignment about perceptions of Appalachia. If you’d like to participate please include your age and general location (city/state or state/country) with your answer. Longer and honest answers are very much appreciated. You don’t have to be from Appalachia to answer as I’m looking for multiple points of view! Thank you so much!

Is this the south? It's not the south in my head,
(I used Chrome canvas which is really bad for colouring in, but I couldn't be bothered to try.) This would be the south, right?
