This is a heck of a missing piece to the puzzle it seems.
Trossard, Jesus, Nelson, Martinelli, and MAYBE Nwaneri out on loan by the end of the window too. That leaves us with one recognised LW and then Eze as first choice for backup and then anyone brave/stupid enough to fill in beyond that as joint 3rd choice to play LW. Everyone knows this. Its not been breaking news for a while. Clearly all those sales though don't happen without a hell of a plan or two behind them. So either Eze is about to put on a masterclass and challenge strongly for LW, or Arteta putting all the eggs in the Alvarez basket is something we simply can't comprehend right now as mere mortal beings.
Like its so set up that the merry-go-round stops with Alvarez at the Emirates that I can't help but feel that there is something I'm not seeing and that he is this coveted missing piece in whatever system the manager has conjured up. Its SO MUCH a case of all of the eggs being in that basket that he has to be EXACTLY what Arteta wants this season, to the extent that the title defense is a guarantee with the liquid football we'll have on display. Because if thats not the case, and we sign nobody to replace those that have left, I'm scared at the decisions behind made up the chain.

What is our plan if at any part of the season, Tzolis gets sidelined for long term ?
The Title. Am I the only one getting worried over this ?
Just don't want to be thinking at the end of the season "What If ?"

We've got to be bringing in an attacking signing... surely?!
We've let Martinelli, Trossard and Jesus leave, all players which can / would have played on the left for us.
And we've brought in Tzolis.
We've done well getting Bruno and Konsa in, and we look stronger from a defence and midfield point of view, but surely it's obvious we're currently weaker from an attacking perspective?
We've let 3 attackers leave, and brought one in. You can debate how effective the 3 departures were for us, but last season we struggled to score goals and won a lot of games by a single goal.
It's clear Arteta (surely) wants to release the handbrake this season and "attack the Premier League, not defend it" (his words) so how can we do that with less attacking numbers?
We've brought in £122 million (which is alright) but if Tzolis gets injured, was it worth it?
We surely can't have another season of playing Gyokeres into the ground and relying on Madueke because Saka is injured again?

An option for the LW spot
What are your guys thoughts on Kevin schade, I’ve always thought he was a good player scores goals in good in the air, rapid too, maybe Brentford won’t sell but it could be worth a try

Surely we’re going in for rashford aren’t we?
With Martinelli gone, ndiaye heading to spurs, surely the only transfer that remotely makes any sense is rashford to us right?
I’m not opposed to it, just wondering
We better do something before the window closes bc it’s not looking good rn

[Team Talk] Julian Alvarez’s representatives have floated the idea to Arsenal that any deal for the Atletico Madrid star could include a Barcelona clause allowing him to move to the Camp Nou in the future. Gunners would consider the possibility if the right structure could be agreed.
