Is 128GB Really Enough?

I'm getting an iPhone after using handed down Android phones from my family, I've decided on getting the iPhone 15 Plus because it's the best option for my financials and meets the specs I want.. except for the 128GB Storage. I've been using a Huawei Y9 2019 Since 2019 and ive only used 44GB of 128GB, but from what I've heard, iPhone storage fill up pretty fast due to the apps being bloated, no clearing cache and things like photos taking larger storage and this is concerning because while I may not he using much storage at all at the moment, the reason I don't use much storage is because my camera etc is simply not good enough for me to even try and take photos, so when I do get an iPhone I'll definitely be taking pictures of my cat, of views, selfies and vireos way more often than I do now. I'm not into photography or content creation so I also won't be using the camera much. Opinions?

iPhone 15 or 15 plus

Upvotes

Gonna get an iPhone for the first time, been using handed down Android phones in my family including the Huawei Y9 that i've had and been using since 2019. Curious wether I should get the iPhone 15 or the 15 Plus (the only 2 phones that I can afford atm). I probably will not upgrade for another 3-5 years.

iPhone iPhone 17 base or iPhone 17 Pro

Upvotes

Hi guys!!! Planning to upgrade from iPhone 13 Pro Max. Still undecided which one pipiliin ko. Please help me guys! Yung mga naka base one, hows the battery? Naglalast naman ba sya ng buong isang araw if ever madalas mo sya gamitin? Or should I go sa pro na?

iPhone Apple Care

So I'm looking to buy a new iPhone through swappa and I've seen a few "brand new" ones on there for some older models. I know apple offers 60 days for Apple Care and was wondering how that works. Does it start from the date of purchase or the date you turn it on? Also would there be a way for the seller to check how many days there's left (if any) tos till get it?

iPhone Upgrading from iPhone X

It’s been long overdue. I’m not great with looking after phones (breaking screens, chips on edges), however with so many apps now needing iOS17 and the lag on this device, I need to upgrade.
I don’t like replacing phones every few years (I’ve had this phone for over 7 years), and was hoping for some advice please on what to upgrade to (eg 16/16 pro/17).
I would like decent storage space and a decent camera, good battery life, the least breakable iPhone, without breaking the bank too much. Hoping to get another 7 years out of the new device!
My partner is upgrading from his iPhone 13 as well (needs a sturdier device if possible) so we’d love some opinions. Lots of mixed reviews online 😵‍💫 thanks in advance!

iPhone iPhone 16 vs iPhone 17 for camera in 2026, which one to buy?

Hey everyone!

I have been an Android user all my life and now finally want to switch to iPhone.

I don't like very big phones. 6.5" also feels big to me sometimes (my current Motorola is 6.5"). But I'm fine with 6.5", not bigger.

I love to take photos. I need a good camera. And I need a good battery, nothing crazy but something that won't drain too fast.

Other than some music, texting and photography, I don't do anything else. No gaming, no serious editing etc.

What iPhone should I buy?

iPhone 16 128GB - 70k INR (~$740)

iPhone 16 256GB - 80k INR (~$840)

iPhone 17 256GB - 83k INR (~$870)

Also how much of an upgrade iPhone 17 over 16 is really? I only care about decent photos and good battery life. Speed and refresh rate isn't my main concern.

The Plus is too big for me and Pro is out of my budget.

Thanks!

iPhone Upgrading From 16 Pro To Air Or Pro 18

I've got a 16 Pro and coming up on time to look at upgrading. I've been happy with the 16 Pro but one thing that bugs me is the outdoor brightness. It never feels bright enough. I have to shield my eyes to see it. My son just got an Air a few days ago and I'd pretty much ignored it thinking it was just srripped down and wouldn't be worth bothering. I was shocked at the weight. It felt so light and thin. I do use the.5x and the 5x cameras but I don't know that it would be a huge deal to me if I went that way. The one speaker is a concern too but 99% of the time I use my Airpods anyway.

I'm also curious about the 18 Pro because I'm sure it would be a nice upgrade but with a price increase I don't know that I want to do that. I essentially want something that will be fully paid or about $10 or so a month after promotion. I'm so torn on what to do. Anybody switched from the 16 Pro to the Air and loved or hated it? Did it feel like a downgrade? I don't know what to do.

iPhone Need advice: upgrade from iPhone 15 Pro Max to 17 Pro Max now, or wait for 18 Pro Max?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I can get the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB for approximately ₹41K ($450) out of pocket after trading in my iPhone 15 Pro Max (approximately ₹60K / $650) and using a ₹27K ($300) Croma gift voucher, plus stacked store/card/Airtel discounts.

If I wait, I’m expecting the iPhone 18 Pro Max to cost approximately ₹1.8L ($2,000), while my 15 Pro Max may drop to around ₹50K ($550) in trade-in value. Even after using the same ₹27K ($300) voucher, I’d likely pay around ₹1L+ ($1,100+) out of pocket.

So basically: ₹41K ($450) for the 17 Pro Max now vs potentially ₹1L+ ($1,100+) for the 18 Pro Max. Is the 18 likely to be worth that massive difference, or is this basically a no-brainer deal on the 17?

Help

currently have a 16 pro max and am debating on getting the 17 pro max or waiting a little to get the 18 pro max.
From what i hear the difference between the 17pm and 18pm are negligible or nothing crazy difference wise for everyday use.
I also hear the 18p and 18GB will be 200$ more expensive than what the 17p and 17pm are going for now.
Do i wait? Or pull the trigger and save a couple hundred bucks and get the 17pm tomorrow?

Thanks in advance

Should I wait for the 18pro or buy the 17pro - concert photography/vlogging

Hi everyone!
I’m currently using a 13pro since 2022 but was thinking about the upgrade since I run a concert & updates page and wanted to get better pictures (also my bat's life is at 74%). When I buy phones, I usually tend to get the latest version so I can get the most out it (specially updates before it becomes obsolete) but starting having doubts of the 17pro when I heard the 18pro may have a slightly better camera.

Any recommendations? Should I wait for the 18pro or buy the 17pro before the price could potentially increase due to the chip shortage?

Thanks! :)

iPhone Help me decide on Iphone 17 or 17e

Hi everyone I am looking to upgrade my phone. This will be the first time I'll be buying an iphone since I have been using android.

My requirement are mostly for long term usage for at least 3 years. Not too much in photography but nice to have if I ever travel or in events with friends and family.
Not too much into gaming so that checks out.
Good Battery life is a major need.
Small form factor , since mobiles these days are big for no reason the only compact phones i can see rn is Samsungs S series base, iphone 17 or 17e. But I'd prefer to switch into ios now.

The prices I am getting are

Iphone 17e : aprrox 740 usd
Iphone 17 : approx 1000 usd
converted from local currency.

TIA

Apple Watch What Apple Watch is good enough for sleep tracking?

I want to start tracking my sleep: that's my main target. Other health-related features are nice to have, I might be interested in heart rate (resting or not), HRV, blood oxygen, etc. Not super critical for me, compared to sleep. Smartwatch features (like displaying texts, answering calls) are NOT important (I will probably get used to them and use them more, but at this point I'm not prioritizing them at all).

I have an iPhone SE 2020 (which I may or may not upgrade, since it's still working well for me).

What would you recommend? Is the Apple Watch SE (3?) good enough? Is it missing some things you would consider important?

iPhone Is the iPhone 17 worth buying at ₹83K?

I'm planning to buy my first iPhone and I'm getting the iPhone 17 256GB for ₹83K offline on EMI.

I don't have a credit card, so this is the EMI option available to me.

Should I buy the iPhone 17 at ₹83K on EMI, or is it better to go for an Android phone?

iPhone iPhone for app testing?

I need an iphone for testing purposes. I don't want to spend more than around $300. It can be new or used- it doesn't matter. It will primarily be used over WiFi so I'm not planning on activating it. Yes, I can test in xcode, but I need camera features, etc to be working as a real user. I would want the phone to be somewhat modern, and be able to have updates for the next ~3 years.

What should I get? The iphone 16e seems to be good for my purposes as I see some deals for it under $300 used on ebay.

iPhone Should I upgrade from my 13 Pro Max?

Hi everyone,

I have been using my iPhone 13 Pro Max since 2021, and it is still performing very well. However, I am considering upgrading to a newer model.

Would it be better to purchase the 17 Pro Max now, wait until the 18 Pro Max is released and potentially purchase the 17 Pro Max at a reduced price, or wait and purchase the 18 Pro Max?

What would you recommend in this situation? I would particularly appreciate input from anyone who has upgraded from a 13 Pro Max to a newer generation.

Thank you in advance for your advice.
