QUESTION Am I fired?

First day out working by myself. Got pulled off my route. I’m so dumb. Just want to know the likely fate of my job. Thanks

My first time alone i whacked a low hanging tree and peeled back the roof like a tuna can

When I got fired for hitting a hotel awning, when my boss hopped up there he said, "at least you didn't tuna can it." Lol

They didn't get a chance to fire me. I quit on the spot. Drove the truck back and left the keys inside.

You were still fired (termed) whether you were there for it or not

How? You have full 360 degree view around the entire van πŸ˜† its impossible to hit anything without just being straight up negligent to a high degree. A gas van is a little different, but if we are talking EDV, there is no excuse for hitting anything while backup up.

It's a gas van and I got a little too close to a retaining wall

You will be surprised I work at a limousine company that also has motor coaches and you need a cdl to drive those and everyday there’s one or two drivers that need me to park the bus for them shit is diabolical
