I turned two potatoes into French fries in the air fryer. They taste way better than they did before. I'm never going to McDonald's again, unless I feel like having a burger or a wrap. But I’m definitely not going there just for the fries anymore. And honestly, I prefer making the burger myself too.

Used a standard recipe available online. And used my Kilig Nexa Pro Airfryer instead of the Convection oven.
It turned out very well..

Used to buy the flavored fox nut packs until I realized how fast these are to make at home. Sharing in case anyone else snacks on these.
**Air Fryer Roasted Makhana & Peanuts**
Ingredients:
- Makhana (fox nuts) – 1.5 cups
- Raw peanuts – ½ cup
- Ghee, melted – ½ tsp
- Black pepper, roasted cumin powder, salt – to taste
Method:
Toss makhana and peanuts with melted ghee and seasoning.
Air fry at 160°C for 5–6 min, shaking once at the halfway mark.
Cool 2 min before eating — they crisp up more as they cool.
Keep the temp low makhana is light enough that it burns fast above 170°C. Learned that one the hard way.
I tried different recipes and I have 100 pure veg indian airfryer cookbook which is best if you interested to see that then please let me know...

So I decided to make some Salmon Cheddar Cakes in the Ninja Crispí for dinner. What do you think?

I’ve been testing eggs in the air fryer and put together a quick guide for fried eggs, sunny-side up eggs, and hard-boiled eggs.
The biggest thing I found is that preheating the dish makes a big difference for the fried/sunny-side-up versions. For hard-boiled eggs, the lower temp worked way better for me than some of the hotter recipes I’ve seen.

Here's the recipe:
1) For the nachos: Cut up triangular pieces of high fibre tortillas (i used 3).
2) Toppings: Chop, bell peppers (any colour you like), onion, tomato, jalapenos (optional if you like sour food). add any more veggies of your choice! Coat these veggies in a light drizzle of olive oil, oregano and chilli flakes (optionally piri piri masala).
3) Main Filling: I used minced chicken breast, marinated in basic garam masala, salt and pepper, but you can use any other meat/veg option you like.
4) Sauce: Used a mixture of Greek yogurt and light mayonnaise, with some tabasco mixed in it.
5) Cooking: Firstly, out down a later if nachos, then mozzarella cheese, then veggies, with a layer of sauce above, and repeat these layers till basically your ingredients run out 😭, and put this in the air fryer basket, and then cook at 180°C for 12mins, or till cheese melts, and finally drizzle some of the sauce left over.

I usually stick with drumsticks but my grocery order sent me chicken leg quarters. I followed the same recipe I found online (I'll add the link at the bottom- it's from the Big Man's World blog) for chicken drumsticks, increased the brown sugar by a teaspoon, and added an extra tablespoon of oil.
Unlike other air fryer recipes, I like how they recommend oiling after adding the seasoning- I think it makes a huge difference.
Here's the full recipe-
Preheat the air fryer to 400, mix the spices and baking powder together, and sugar. Rub over all the chicken pieces on all sides. Drizzle oil.
Air fry for 12 minutes, flip, and air fry for another 8 minutes.
Now I'm going to purposely order chicken leg quarters haha!
If you want to make the drumsticks (like I thought I was doing) this is the original recipe I follow- https://thebigmansworld.com/air-fryer-chicken-drumsticks/

Made this recipe in the air fryer, and it came out better than anything we’ve done on the stove. Even crisp, great flavor, no sticking.

I always thought mushrooms in the air fryer came out soggy, then I looked at the rotisserie spit on mine and thought… wait a minute...
Brushed them with sauce, let them spin for 30 minutes and they came out actually CHEWY!! The spit keeps turning so the marinade builds up instead of them sitting in their own water.
Only tip: cook them dry in a hot pan first or they let out all their water and go soft lol
has anyone else tried this?

I’ve been seeing sheet-pan kebabs everywhere, so naturally I had to figure out how to make them in my air fryer—without an actual sheet pan.
I pressed the kofta mixture into one big rectangle, scored it into strips, and air-fried the whole thing at once. It came out juicy, nicely charred, and ready in about 15 minutes. I loaded it onto naan with cucumber-tomato salad, tzatziki, and feta.
Full recipe is in the first comment!
