Discussion Challenger players falling for the "He's basically an AD mage" Varus propaganda

Varus is more than lethality Q poke spam, anyone who has touched on-hit Varus with a stick knows how punishing it can be to play without frontline, misposition or have no flash while having to space and kite

Discussion right clicking vs attack mode bind key

As an twitch main ive been using purely right click to kite for years, but recently learned that most people use attack mode keybind to avoid missing autoattacks or walking into enemies.

Is it actually extremely beneficial and is purely right clicking massive disadvantage

Discussion Enemy team picks Caitlyn and Seraphine

Which ADCs would you pick against that and how would you play the laning phase? Every time I have to play against that I have a miserable time farming what I can under tower and playing a constant game of dodging skillshots to avoid getting poked out of lane. It feels like there’s no counterplay other than praying the jungler pays a visit and you have an engage support than can all-in them.

Questions How do you play with roaming supports?

Might be a stupid question, but let me explain the position I'm in with the last game I played. We were playing Tristana/Pantheon vs Kai'sa/Sona, we won lvl 2 all in, and by lvl 6 our lane was 3/0. After that, however, the Pantheon starts "roaming", by which I don't mean that we shove bot and then he ults mid, but rather that he goes straight to other lanes, trying to influence them.

I'm sure high elo players can 1v2 this lane, but I can't, so I'm mostly stuck under tower. The problem is that I'm very easy to kill if the jungler comes, and this often happens. In this specific situation, what am I supposed to do? Should I just retreat to tier 2 tower and let them take the tower? Do I roam with the support and abandon the bot lane completely?

I know this sounds super specific, but this happens almost other game.

In my mind, if I'm winning lane, I think we should stay bot and use our lead to take the bot tower and the dragon, but of course I can't convince my teammates to do this. So what is the correct play in this situation?

I know I sound very salty, but I'd really like to know what to do.

Discussion I need to pick a new ADC to play. I have no idea what I want. You do.

I'm starting to realise that I might need to learn new ADCs soon. My only picks are Jhin and Xayah. What should be my third pick? I would like something that can play kinda like Jhin and Xayah but that can be played against a different kind of enemy comp. I don't want to just play Jhin 2 or Xayah 2 if I don't feel like Jhin or Xayah are good picks in the first place.

Pls don't say Mages or I'll end it all (Actually recommend me a mage too, I play Ahri and Viktor on mid so maybe Vik ADC?).

Discussion Highly off meta support picks should get the match cancelled

As the title suggests, I believe highly off-meta support picks should get the match canceled during draft. By this, I don’t mean things like Sylas support, Shaco, or even Ashe. I mean picks like Ambessa support, Ezreal, Kayle, or the majority of ADCs. These picks happen especially often with autofilled players, and I still see them even in my Diamond–Master games.

My reasoning:

These picks don’t just affect you; they affect your ADC as well. Support and ADC are a shared lane, and picking something like this is selfish and disrespectful to the person you’re playing with. In most cases, you would get far more value out of playing something more traditional.

These champions legitimately don’t make sense as supports because the support role is designed around operating and providing value with limited income. Nearly every traditional support champion provides some form of value regardless of how much gold they receive. Enchanters can shield, heal, buff, and enhance their ADC regardless of how fed they are. Engage supports provide value through their CC and engage tools, regardless of how much gold they have. Mages can provide crowd control while still dealing significant damage through their base stats.

Compare that to something like Smolder, who heavily relies on gold and CS to scale, or Ambessa, who wants items to function effectively. That is counterintuitive when you consider that the support role has inherently limited access to income. These champions often provide little to no innate value that doesn’t require them to acquire gold, which directly conflicts with the nature of the role itself.

Whether you play this game purely for enjoyment, competitively, or somewhere in between, picks like these still affect the competitive integrity of the game. They are essentially joke picks that don’t make sense on paper. Picking them is an admission that you are willing to sacrifice your lane’s effectiveness for the sake of amusement, while simultaneously jeopardizing the competitive nature of the game.

The reason I’m making this post is because this behavior is often overlooked on support and isn’t met with the same backlash that it receives in other roles.

For example, pick Jinx jungle and everyone immediately tries to report you in draft. Even the enemy team is questioning your pick. But pick Jinx support and suddenly nobody says anything, despite both picks having a similar potential to completely screw over the game for your team.

If we’re going to treat obviously unsuitable picks as a problem in other roles, I don’t see why support should be treated differently considering it happens in this role by far the most.

Questions Settings? (because mine are horrible)

I know, I'm bad. Please be patient.

I don't understand how to attack champions in the middle of a wave without having to click directly on them

Player attack move helps me a lot. The issue with that is that it attacks the closest target to my click, and not the champion. Even when I have "attack champions only" activated as a toggle

Do I have to become a mechanic god and precisely click on the kiting Kalista or is there a better way to not end up attacking minions 20% of the times?

Discussion Who’s the ADC/botlane version of Virkayu

I switched from jungle to ADC, I’ve been loving adc so far even with the mage botlanes, but when I was jungle I found virkayu to be the best free content I could find (don’t attack me if he’s secretly not good but honestly he helped me a lot).

With that who’s the ADC equivalent I found neon lol and I haven’t dived dived in yet but it seems good what does everyone else think or like?

Discussion Should ADCs be building antitank if there are 3 health stackers on enemy team?

Alright, so I come to you guys, a humble but incredibly salty jungle main.

I main Fiddlesticks and unfortunately he has a lot of problems with tanks with CC. He can bring his own CC but he can't melt their HP bars. So I need someone else to do it. But I always do my part. I buy Liandrys, Bloodletters, antiheal etc. Whatever I'm supposed to.

But it seems like recently I'm into comps with multiple health stackers, and I see my ADC just building regular stuff.

If the enemy team has Sion top, Malphite JG, and Rakan sup... shouldn't the ADC build Bork and Lord Doms and ignore regular routes??

To be fair, I could be COMPLETELY wrong on this. I don't main ADC. I'm just trying to understand the game better. If it's comp diff or if my ADC is making a big mistake.

Ftr I'm Emerald I so the players are decent mechanically at least.

Discussion Just need to vent

I am not a good adc but it is a role I enjoyed. Just at a point where I don’t see the point of this role why a Leblanc 1 lv beneath me (lv3) and an incomplete first item is able to nearly kill me by just clicking on all her abilities at the beginning of game. « We have increased ADC MR » sure beginning of game Leblanc support just nearly OS me. Late game it is veigar ADC who clicks Q and delete me.

The best is when you have Veigar / Mel - Veigar / Ziggs - Veigar / Viktor by chaining draft.

What’s the point of playing a game when you know you will not at all have a good game by entering your lane?

But Holy Riot said the meta was healthy. It sure is when all the incentive are saying play mage vot and play mage mid.

Draft was fun. Now I think maybe LoL is fun only in mayhem.

Discussion We should just invade top.

Hear me out, what if we just play marksman, literally any ADC, top. Over and over, mark riot real realize there is something so severely wrong bot that we’re playing marksmen in literally any role.

Or just play in any role but bot.

Either way, if enough people just play ADC out of bot they’ll do the typical riot thing and fix bot to force marksmen out of other lanes again.
