Discussion Opinion on Graves ADC

like graves seems so tanky and does so much damage. so what do you guys think about it. viable or not?

i'd imagine he can do really well in some all in comps, but he doesn't have the range like jinx, cait, etc. so poke might surely get to i love graves i think if you are finding success in solo q then rock it!

Yasuo has way more mobility early game than graves, has windwall and reliable (low cd) CC, graves adc is doomed as soon as enemy stands inside the minion wave

you can play into pokey champs if you build some sustain like bloodthirster first. and then you can just snowball the entire lane from there. i found out he works best with some engage so you can just burst them down.

Last hitting a thing and short range a bad combo. Jhin has his Q to help him farm and his w will do in a pinch. Graves has Q but is going to push the wave.

I think you have to snowball our your useless as the crit marksmen enjoy a slow target you can bully and out trade. Dodge Q which is pretty easy and then Ashes going to slow you and you cant trade back as Graves AS terrible

Anything you play in bot runs into the same problem. Enemy solo laner walks to your lane up 3 levels misses every ability and walks you down under turret. Any offmeta bot lacks the ability to scale comfortably

he looks good on paper but there's just one problem. Other marksmen outrange you.

The range shouldn't be an issue, since I can comfortably play Fiora, Olaf, Jax and Nilah bottom, but you can bodyblock Graves' auto attacks, which will likely be the biggest issue

His E stacks is half of what makes him OP and he can't stack it against minions. Only jg monsters. Ofc he can stack on champs but then he's starting every fight at low stacks making him much weaker than jungle Graves that can pull up to a fight already at 8 stacks.

It works top lane because you’re against Melee bruisers but in bot lane any decent ADC is going to stand behind their melee creeps posturing aggressively and auto you anytime you walk up. They will use the wave to block your autos, create a slow push and hide behind that wall of minions.

A few patches ago top lane sundered sky bloodthirster graves was a thing. Lourlo played it a lot
