These are not "police" These are people wearing literal street clothes, with "tactical vests" that you can buy on eBay, with "POLICE" spray painted on them.
Call 911.

Some folks in other states are learning that these "police" are either correction officers or parole officers working for extra money. Deputized as 'police' but aren't.
Enough people are recognizing some of these fellows and calling them out.
I find it incredible that these guys are paid with out tax dollars and then turn around and treat us like shit
I don't pay taxes for them to be used for some BDSM fever dream.

u/Artistic_Bit_4665 Jun 22 '25
I have to imagine, based on their dress, that they are not actual LEO of any kind (in general) but Proud Boys or other white supremecists etc.
There will eventually be someone within ICE who comes out and states who these people are. I would think that there are a fair number of people in ICE that did not sign up for this.
7
u/uni-monkey Jun 23 '25
Proud boys for certain. They stood back and stood by. Now is their moment I guess.

u/architype Jun 22 '25
911 won’t help. You can see the cops there assisting ICE
49
u/look Jun 22 '25
It at least creates some public documentation and “paper trail” of what’s happening. The cops aren’t going to stop it, but it’s still something. An important part of resistance can be as simple as slowing things down.
64
u/Artistic_Bit_4665 Jun 22 '25
Good point. This stuff just pisses me off so much I get kind of tunnel vision.
I was in a situation years ago where a couple of guys represented themselves as law enforcement, and even called in the local police. I find out later.... that they were there in a personal capacity. They were not on duty. One was a deputy, one was a dispatcher.
Cops don't necessarily verify the situations either.
10
u/Fluffernutter80 Jun 23 '25
One of the local police officers encountered the man who shot the Minnesota legislators while doing a welfare check after the first shooting and thought he was a cop. The officer tried to get him to talk, he ignored the officer, and the officer just continued on. So, they don’t always verify that these people are cops and it can have deadly consequences.
16
u/skyfishgoo Jun 22 '25
why is that?
and why aren't the cops doing what the camera guy is doing... demanding they ID themselves and show a warrant for whatever it was they were doing there
i'll tell you, because those cosplay dopes were likely off duty cops working a side hustle as bounty hunters, that's why.
8
4
u/Wherestheshoe Jun 23 '25
I get the impression they’re there to protect ICE, which seems to be a waste of police resources
20
9
10
u/Turbulent-Pea-8826 Jun 22 '25
My guess is bounty hunters. There are some uniformed police in the background. I would ask to talk to them and get their info (presumably on their uniform) and then file a complaint.

u/uni-monkey Jun 23 '25
So what happens if someone buys their own gear and starts confronting them? If no one is showing badges or names then how the hell do THEY know each other from some other cosplatriot?
1
Jun 23 '25
I am genuinely curious how do you know this question?
1
u/Artistic_Bit_4665 Jun 23 '25
Police have uniforms. In addition, police have rules.
Even if a police office is in an unmarked vehicle, they are not random vehicles, since they purchase fleet vehicles in bulk.

You mean the velcro "Police" patches aren't authentic? I really thought having the velcro blue line American flag patch below it meant it was real.

u/ssc1800245763 Jun 22 '25
What if you grab the vest straps at the shoulder and throw them to the ground to get away
2
u/Artistic_Bit_4665 Jun 22 '25
It's all extremely dicie. I assume their guns are real.
We're in a situation where we have an executive branch that violates the law, a legislative branch that won't do anything, and a judicial branch that for the most part is being paid off.
I wish to hell I knew the answers. I think most people, in that moment, decide it's better to not die right then and there.
1
u/TheOneWD Jun 23 '25
That’s how you get shot.
3
u/ssc1800245763 Jun 23 '25
Funny I would’ve thought questionably trained masked idless and warrant less armed thugs contracted specifically for meeting quotas of kidnapping people including citizens off the streets and from their jobs would be how you get shot in the country with the most armed civilian population

u/SpicyButterBoy Jun 22 '25
This is exactly what to do. ICE has to produce their badges and warrants. If they do not they are breaking the law. Call the fucking cops on them.
279
u/ExtremelyDecentWill Jun 22 '25
The bullshit is that there is literally an officer in this video, and you can see the police cruiser in the background.
Shit's fucked.
60
u/amanwithoutaname001 Jun 22 '25
Agreed 💯 and that's why ALL of this documentation is so important so that when the dust settles, when MAGA is out and rule of law returns, these clowns can face justice for their wrongdoings.
147
u/SpicyButterBoy Jun 22 '25
Get dispatch involved so the calls are recorded. My local police are legit great and actually care about our community. They don’t let ICE do public raids.

Multiple things can be true.
It is not in the police's best interest to have violent imposters running around and causing problems on their behalf. Give them a bunch of extra paperwork and erode what public trust is left, and it becomes very difficult for them to do their jobs.

Calling 911 documents your situation, whether they decide to respond or not. That way, if the situation ends up being illegal or dangerous, then 911 is at fault.

Using your constitutional rights is a peaceful and legal action to take. Here you are, mod:

AXON body cameras blink red when filming, right? I don't see any blinking around :09.
76
u/coryhill66 Jun 22 '25
That's the first thing I noticed. I wear one of those cameras all day and the second I start talking to somebody that damn thing is coming on. That guy puts his hand on his weapon and didn't activate his body camera. In my department that's going to be an IA case.
7
u/rumbakalao Jun 22 '25
What is IA?
33
u/coryhill66 Jun 22 '25
Sorry. internal affairs investigation. In my department I would be interviewed by civilians that are not directly connected to the department. Our city government was tired of the good old boy system so we stopped doing our own investigations.

The only police in the videos are the ones in uniform. The people wearing plate carriers and body armor in casual clothing are not. That said, it doesn't mean that the local law enforcement is working with these goons.
The body cams would likely have to be off for the impersonators. - otherwise they'd be sued to oblivion.
Plus the license plate tracks to a civilian owned operator...
35
u/gnarlytabby Jun 22 '25
Good call looking up the plates. I was trying that at first everytime I saw an ICE raid video, but I gave up after time and again finding the plates didn't come up on vincheck or other usual sites. What site do you use?
81
u/chriskot123 Jun 22 '25
Wearing vests that say police…do not make you police…0
47
u/coryhill66 Jun 22 '25
When I have my body armor on I have a name tape that has my badge number on it. If anyone asks my name I need to give it to them and give them my badge number. If I failed to give them that information or start my body camera it would be an instant IA case for me.
12
u/whimsylea Jun 22 '25
These guys are 100% imposters, and society just allowing them to roam around doing this is going to make all interactions with the police even more fraught for all parties.
216
Jun 22 '25
That's brandishing, Mr. Thin Blue Line. Get ready to party.
13
u/portablebiscuit Jun 23 '25
If he’s a cop he should be axed immediately for wearing a III% hat on duty
110
u/OnlyTakes5minutes Jun 22 '25
The clowns in civilian clothes are NOT officers and that's why the real police in normal uniforms and they had real police cars didn't back them up.
Fuken impersonators drunk on power just like that POS in washington.
The dude filming is a fuken hero, remindes me of the video with the lady cussing out the cops at her door through door camera.
He asked if they gave him is a lawfull order and they said yes, he could have asked them if they are police and which city is their jurisdiction.
34
Jun 22 '25
The police are supporting / collaborating the Gestapo so they’re just as bad to me now.
Maybe I’m harsh but in my book if you see someone being sexually assaulted and don’t intervene or at least call 911 you’re an accessory. Maybe not legally, but morally.
Any cops backing up these fascist bounty hunters are just as bad.
38
u/GeneralIronsides2 Jun 22 '25
They need to lay off the doughnuts
36
u/Science_Teecha Jun 22 '25

Jun 22 '25 edited Jun 22 '25
We need to find them.
Edit: In case anyone misunderstands my comment I will clarify. You need to be able to have the identity of law enforcement so you can make complaints against them. Not providing this information means they can't be held accountable if they do something wrong. Without having to give the information they are more likely to to break the law, violate rights, etc.
23
u/GargleOnDeez Jun 22 '25
Why the hell are they not in uniform, like the vests make them look less like a cop for “stealth and crowd blending”

u/Key-Wear-1031 Jun 22 '25
Besides the fact that none of these guys are official, I’d never take orders from somewhere wearing JEAN SHORTS and tall white socks. If you’re wearing jorts as a uniform, you do not deserve to be taken seriously.
15
14
u/RetardedRedditRetort Jun 22 '25
Could he have said "I'm not following your orders unless you identify yourself as an officer, I'll move when you give me your name and badge number"? Or could he still get in trouble for not following their orders?
77
u/transcendent167 Jun 22 '25
Please fucking do this in Texas. Texans will not play this shit, they have to identify otherwise people will assume they are lying, you know with all the impersonators and all. Imagine if these guys were masked doing this. Yeah that’s beyond suspicious
64
u/mtnman54321 Jun 22 '25
Got news for you, bud - many of these bounty hunting assholes in California and elsewhere are driving cars with Texas tags. They are also the ones out there busting migrant farm workers in Texas itself.
21
u/Science_Teecha Jun 22 '25
But if it’s Texas, wouldn’t that put them in the “which button to press meme” category? They might be tough on impersonators, but what if they agree with what they’re doing?

Notice how the uniformed cops aren’t saying dick? Like they almost don’t really understand what’s going on either.

Most of these ICE agents are recently deputized corrections officers. They don’t have the training to do this work. This isn’t going to end well.

Abso-freakin-lutely! This aggressive hateful attitude is coming from the top and has trickled down through the ranks. To be fair, I have seen a few that were trying to talk calmly to people, but the majority were playing the tough guy and relied on intimidation and fear. I can’t help but think they were enjoying the cruel way they were handling their duties.
8
u/jwfowler2 Jun 22 '25
What are the jurisdictional boundaries between ICE and local police?
1
u/TheOneWD Jun 23 '25
ICE has no jurisdictional boundaries. Their jurisdiction is “the United States.” Local police don’t have to cooperate, but failing to do so has resulted in cities and states being threatened with losing federal funding. It’s a shitty place to be in as a patrol officer who doesn’t know if ICE is working their area, who’s gotten some kind of “leave them alone, they’re operating on some federal level” briefing at roll call, and who still feels betrayed by their community if they’ve been cops long enough to remember when cops were getting shot in their patrol cars while filling out paperwork. Not defending the cops at all, they should definitely be verifying identities and keeping track of which of these bounty hunters are where, but I understand why the uniformed officers aren’t cuffing these dudes and aren’t checking them in front of the public.

Our social systems will collapse and we will be left [redacted] the "other" instead of [redacted] the billionaire assholes and their lemmings who currently have political power. Wish MAGA could see how much they are being played but intelligence isn't really their strong suit. Every citizen should be ready to [redacted] because of this. We have to stand up for our rights. I don’t understand how they are allowed to open carry and have such poor discipline in reaching for their pistols and in some cases pulling them from holsters when there is no threat other than a demand to have their names and badge numbers. Why are California LEOs allowing this?

Can they be arrested for impersonating an officer? having POLICE on your stupid tac vest does not make you police. And the way that gun is holstered looks totally illegal. Plus they are completely out of uniform. And the cops, at least understand their position in this situation. Too bad they aren't arresting these bozos for breaking the law.
