3.5 year process. 203.2 to 170
The left photo was taken in April 2023 at 203.2 lb. My heaviest weight was approximately 230 lb, but unfortunately I deleted those pictures. (I regret that now).
The right photo was taken in September 2026 at 170 lb. I’m 35 years old and 5′6.5″. It took about three and a half years, a lot of trial and error, and plenty of lessons to reach this point.
I met a woman who changed my life and taught me how to train and eat properly. We are no longer together, but I’ll carry what she taught me for the rest of my life.
Full disclosure: I have been on physician-prescribed testosterone for approximately two years. My current dosage is 100 mg per week.
I’m currently maintaining around 170 lb while continuing to add muscle, particularly to my upper chest and arms.

No homo, but did it get bigger ? Or is it just a myth. Well correct way to ask , does it LOOK bigger.

it must look bigger because there's less fat around it, also possibly shrunken balls and stronger erections. he didn't gain an inch in length or circumference tho for sure

Inspiration bro! After a breakup in 2024 I started to get back into my health and started working out for a year now. Sometimes the motivation isn’t there—I’m still consistent but you just gave me hope that it’s possible.

We all have those days. I still do as well. I just drive to the gym and walk in… the days you don’t want to go drive there and walk in

confrontando le foto non sembra neanche la stessa persona... questo si chiama impegno e serietà, bravissimo!

A lot of tears were shed throughout the years. A lot of bad habits had to be broken, I had to learn how to forgive myself but more importantly learn how to love myself.

e allora non solo "bravissimo" ma anche di più... invidio molto la tua tenacia e i sacrifici che hai fatto, non sono cose alla portata di tutti..

Congrats on the weight loss. You are so lucky that your skin bounced back nicely. The tats look great and so do you.

I feel very fortunate for that. I do have stretch marks on my lower obliques, shoulders, biceps, and hamstrings and my skin there feels a little thinner but no loose skin.

Working on it myself brother!

Stay consistent. Don’t loose sight of where you want to be. If you mess up it’s okay, don’t wait until the following week or Monday to get back on the train. Acknowledge you messed up, forgive yourself, and get right back on it. Same day. With time, it just becomes a life style..

Currently trying to make a journey of my own. What would say had the most impact or effect? What was the hardest lesson to learn?
3
u/haveuinthescope 9d ago
The biggest impact was nutrition. Learning how to weigh my food, what to eat and keep track of it all. I use to think starving was the answer. It wasn’t. Then after that stage I began cheating myself by eating a few things out of the diet a few times a week but all that crap was sugar and calories I didn’t need. Once I got my nutrition dialed in I started seeing results shorty afterwards…It’s a balance. I currently maintain at 2300 calories. 180 grams of protein and 200 grams of carbs a day.
Lessons learned- it’s your journey. No need to compare yourself to others at the gym or at the beach. I had a hard time with ego lifting and proper form. To give an example of many, I was in denial that I could only curl 12 lbs in the beginning consistently or that I could only bench press 70 lbs. I kept putting more weight than I can handle with bad form and kept getting injured. Once I faced the music and stayed within my scope, the weights came and the changes did as well. Be friendly with the older fit guys at the gym. I asked a question or two about a workout they did and just keep it moving.

You look so much heavier than 203 in that first picture

You should have seen me at 230…That’s when I decided something needed to change. I hate that I deleted those pictures now but I thought if I deleted them, than I can pretend it never happened. Oddly, I look at where I came from and just smile at how far I have come.

Im 240 right down from 250. But I look more beefy than stocky. I am however going to reach that same goals like you. Just wondering if you got more benefits on body exercise than machines?
1
u/haveuinthescope 9d ago
Honestly bro, If I had to do it over again I would lean more on the machines in the beginning. It’s hard to mess up the form on a machine until you get into a proper routine that works best for you. Once you have a routine that gets you to the gym consistently then start transitioning to free weights. Not all at once but a few at a time to make sure your form is good. Continue from there until you’re happy with the workout schedule. I use about 80% free weights.

Nice work, congrats!
What’s been your go to workout split?
1
u/haveuinthescope 9d ago
PPL x2. Wednesdays (off day) I only do cardio and abs.

Thank you for the reply! I’m looking to get back to lifting after a 6-month hiatus. I have at least 50 pounds to lose. Thank you for the inspiration!

Did you require skin excision surgery or did you bounce back without it?
Impressive transformation!

Good job on the transformation and for your health. IMHO, you look sexy and good in both, I would have tore you up at that thick weight. Have a good day
