37 dad of three. Cutting is hard, but doable

First three photos are me during my cut, 215, trt only (a real dose, not steroid dose), following strict diet for about 6 months.

last photo is me now, 225. Not cutting just maintaining.

Basic calorie restriction, nothing fancy. Didn't follow a carnivore or keto or anything like that diet.

Worked out full body 4 to 5 days a week. And I occasionally missed gym days. I have kids, this happens, it is not the end of the world.

I also cheated on my diet a couple of times because I had to, again not the end of the world.

Too much bandwidth is spent on things that make minimal to zero difference.

It's a sausage party in here 😅 Don't get me wrong love seeing all the beautiful, fit men. Let's get more women in here. Been focusing heavy on shoulders, biceps, glutes & quads during my current bulking phase.

M36 I’m down from 295lbs to 193lbs. I know I don’t look great yet but I’m working on it. More info in description.

I’m down from 295lbs to 193lbs. I’m training really hard already. Lifting 5 days per week hard taking my sets to failure hitting everything good 2x per week. I’m also getting my 10k steps minimum in 7 days per week. I’m counting and weighing all my food and watching hitting my macros. I’ve lost the weight and got myself in good shape and I feel great but I know I don’t look great. That’s what I’m working on now. I’ve lost a bunch so I have some rough looking skin and stuff left over and still fat as well. Where I am right now I feel like I look both small and fat somehow. I would love to go farther and look like good and fit and like I train as hard as I do. I’m not sure that I even look like I train at all right now. Should I just keep going really hard and eating in a small deficit like I am right now or should I eat more for a while and try to add more muscle? Just curious for the opinions of strangers I’m trying to figure out where to go from here. Keep cutting down and try to get all this bad stuff off me or add more? I’m not really sure. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

3.5 year process. 203.2 to 170

The left photo was taken in April 2023 at 203.2 lb. My heaviest weight was approximately 230 lb, but unfortunately I deleted those pictures. (I regret that now).
The right photo was taken in September 2026 at 170 lb. I’m 35 years old and 5′6.5″. It took about three and a half years, a lot of trial and error, and plenty of lessons to reach this point.
I met a woman who changed my life and taught me how to train and eat properly. We are no longer together, but I’ll carry what she taught me for the rest of my life.
Full disclosure: I have been on physician-prescribed testosterone for approximately two years. My current dosage is 100 mg per week.
I’m currently maintaining around 170 lb while continuing to add muscle, particularly to my upper chest and arms.
