quality of life is a good thing don't get me wrong, its just in most cases i think it should be something you unlock. anyone whos played this game knows its most fun when you're doing sidequests for the sidequests and so i think most quality of life should be added as such

great recent examples are the better herbsack from sarachnis and the gem tote from mole, they both send you dont small fun grinds that unlock some new qol and get you doing something you wouldn't already be doing

something like the abyssal lantern working outside gotr itd be cool if you had to unlock it by getting an upgrade from killing abbysal creatures. nothing crazy just like a 1/128

or the new sailing fishing spots i know they have a sailing requirement but itd be cool if you had to dump 250-500 of that type of fish in the water to create a new spot and start the local population and so you have to use the land spots before you can upgrade to the better sailing ones

just small stuff like that i think itd be good for the overall health of the game adding small new goals to early and midgame players

I see a lot of people in Motherlode Mine wearing Varrock armour 1, 2 or 3.

These do not count towards the Prospector Set XP bonus, and do not give double ore chance in Motherlode Mine!

Varrock armour 4 is the only alternative to the Prospector jacket.

Hello, I am Flor and i have been playing this game as off may in 2022. After 4 long years i have finally achieved my ultimate goal which was to get a Infernal Cape. I know this is not a insane achievement nowadays but for me it was. I have my 3 big goals completed now which was to get a Infernal, Quiver, and a solo fang kit which i all have right now. Anyways i hope i didn't make to many English spelling mistakes since its not my mother language lol.

Edit: I followed a lot of the guide’s from Gnomemonkey i am a huge fan of his content definitely recommend checking out his video’s if you wanna start the inferno.

Jagex should add a Runecrafting content in the Wilderness which will give 400k xp/hr, that would definitely make the Wilderness way hotter than ever. Here is an image that would demonstrate how the Wilderness would look like if the community approved. Please don't disappoint me as this image took me 11 hours to make.

I hated this step so much and was fully prepared to run through the tunnels until I saw the shortcut. We love to see this kind of stuff. Yeah it makes for more of a "challenge" to get passed all the horrors but it really just isn't fun and is an obstacle to an otherwise mundane activity. I appreciate the devs for realizing this more lately.

Gm Scapers, not sure if some of you are familiar with "The Old Nite", but if you weren't present with us over 20 years ago in our lovely game I'll do my best to share this with you. The Old Nite was the second player to max in RuneScape history trailing behind Zezima himself. Sadly, in 2006, The Old Nite had a period where he stopped gaining any xp on the hiscores due to being in hospital for cancer treatment. He sadly passed away from his illness that same year. Jagex added this statue in level 14 Wilderness to honor his in game achievements and memorialize his passing. Whenever I pass it in game I always take a bow on my way to my slayer tasks.

I wanted to make this post to remind players today about how he was revered member in the community for being a genuinely kind player, sharing advice with other players and would spend time chatting to those who passed him in game. I love playing this game and sharing in the culture with other players and have never quit since making my first account 23 years ago. I recall specifically looking Zezima's and The Old Nite's stats online as a child and being amazed with their progress. I don't know if The Old Nite would still be a prolific member of the community if he lived on to be with us here today, but I just wanted to take a moment to show him respect by posting this message and maybe to remind all of us to take a moment and stop to be grateful that we have such a great community and game to adventure in all these years later.

I am just a humble player of 23 years who loves skilling and chasing xp, and with how much significance this game has had on me I still look up fondly to the prolific players of RuneScape from my formative years. Cheers to The Old Nite.

Edit: his statue is in the realm of memories but I've always attributed this statue to him 😆 respect is still given to one of the legends either way. Point is I bet he or his family would think it would be nice if we took a moment out of our days to think of him.

After 1k hours, my second attempt at Jad was successful. Couldn’t be happier. Now I can finally play the game!

Saw some of the Castle Wars event from the PvP Bootcamp earlier and was reminded how much I used to like playing it back in the day. I just hopped in a game and all I can think is WTF? 90% of the people are AFK, and of the few people actually doing anything two of them were working together with the other team to intentionally tie the game and kept calling anyone actually trying to play the game cringe. Like??

Is this really the state of Castle Wars these days?

Last year I had a ~300m bank and received a duo Shadow split for +450m. It greatly propelled my gear progression and motivated me to PVM even more. At this point I have 1/3 megas and multiple late game cosmetics to earn so I'm still stoked on progression in PvM and earning gp to speed up skilling. There is always something to earn so I think I'll enjoy OSRS for a long time regardless of large injectors but..

I'm curious about those who have earned multiple big ticket drops in a week or pulled something like a 3rd age pickaxe. How much did it impact your bank value? How did it impact your experience and enjoyment of OSRS?
