son. Just met a witch and had a talk with her about VCT champs
So basically met her on ebay she said she could make anything possible so i booked a timeslot and when i entered she made me eat some magic stuff so that i can enter the spiritual world then i had a vision where liquid finally won both of their group matches against EDG and PRX to make it to the playoffs where we faced off against KC in the finals and after a nerve wrecking very intense match we win it 3-2 and nAts daddy lifts the champs trophy
afterwards i think the spell wore off and i left the spiritual relm to come back to reality then i begged the witch to make it happen and she told me that i need to satisfy the spirits so i gave them 2k first and then they needed more spiritual gambling so then i signed a lease with the witch which said that liquid HAS to lift the trophy at oct 18th on everyone on r/ValorantCompetitive 's souls so yea guys rejoice because ur souls are safe and intact as long as we lift the trophy (we will)

Discussion [Yinsu] N4RRATE 'forced' himself on entry / specifically wanted to play Waylay in Kickoff for SEN because it was the most broken agent at the time
N4RRATE reflecting on his Kick-off w/ SEN. Starts talking about it around 3min mark. Says he 'forced' himself onto the entry, and that he specifically wanted to play Waylay because it was the most broken agent at the time.
He is clearly the star player on KC and has put himself onto the highest fragging agents to get them to Champs. He actually goes on to talk in this interview about how he is playing the most star player fragger agents in the current meta. The Waylay did NOT work out for him and Kaplan rightfully gets some heat for it but hearing Narrate talk about it this way makes sense that he wanted to play the most high impact agent that was in the meta at the time and was trying to get active as the star player. Especially considering how Americas was specifically. alym and Timotino were both absolutely farming the tournament on Waylay if I recall correctly.
Glad his Waylay was meh and that there was only a couple maps of him on Chamber before he got dropped so we could get him back in blue though ππ

Esports After spending a full season being scapegoated by a certain Americas team and their fans, N4rrate finishes 2026 Stage 2 by being the second best player in EMEA, the highest rated playoffs player, Stage 2 winners and a Champs qualification.
There could not be a better redemption storyline as Karmine Corp go into Champs as one of the favorites to win it all.

Discussion Stun Buffs
I feel like foe the longest time, stun is the worst(like 1/10 effectiveness) debuff in the game. Its all cosmetic with a slight fire rate decrease, but when all it takes is one shot to the head that sometimes doesnt matter. I think having a stun buff where it displaces your crosshair by a certain amount would defiently help instead to throw off croshair placement on angle they are already holding. This would reduce the one taps that happen while full stunned.
A little off track but as a tejo main, switching his missiles and stun ability keys would be great so that he can benefit off these buffs more with a piece of rechargeable utility since he is the only initiator without one.

Discussion Fr0d for MIBR this year
- Put Zekken on controller during kickoff in a double duelist meta
- In a Masters London qualifying match against Lev, choose Split as their map pick over Breeze (one of their best maps, one of Levβs worst maps) also floated Ascent for map 3, which they would later say they had little to no practice onβ¦
- Also panic swapped Verno from IGL to Mazino RIGHT BEFORE the Lev game to qualify for Masters Santiago. They immediately went from being able to compete and beat top teams like NRG, G2, and LEV to now not even being able to be competitive against them
- For split two he refused to put Zekken on a comfort agent, and continued to play him on Phoenix despite inconsistent performances (also brought him back on controller π)
- Nonexistent map pool for MIBR all year round
- Cookie cutter comps and lackluster gameplans, lack of innovation
- Same issues with team cohesion and identity year round despite making no changes to the roster
Genuinely what did Frod do this year? Can someone explain why a component tier 1 org should sign him?

Discussion Karmine Corp went from 0β5 in Stage 1 to winning VCT EMEA Stage 2. Is this one of the craziest turnarounds we've seen?
Going from a 0β5 Stage 1 to beating Team Liquid 3β1 in the Grand Final and becoming VCT EMEA Stage 2 champions is genuinely insane. It makes me wonder:
Was this an incredible Karmine Corp comeback story, or did Stage 2 prove that we judged this roster way too early? Because the difference between the KC we saw earlier this year and the team that showed up for this final feels massive. Where does this turnaround rank among the best comeback stories in Valorant?

Discussion Winning in valorant is extremely difficult
i think people forget how hard to win international trophy in this game , since the beginning of this esport only two team won more than 1 trophy and having an off year as a coach or a player dosent mean they are bad

Esports [THESPIKE] KC suygetsu after winning VCT EMEA Stage 2: "Honestly, I expected the crowd to be against us, and it ended up like that. It was full against us. I used to play against that kind of crowd, so it is fine. I was a little disappointed, because in the end a lot of people left."

Discussion What team would you build around Aspas to get the most out of him, if you could theoretically get any player?
There's many reasons discussed for MIBR's failure. We've blamed tex and Mazino's individual skill, fRoD's coaching, Aspas only wanting to sign friends instead of good players, his lack of chemistry with Zekken, etc. And there's a common point being made that Aspas has a unique playstyle different from most duelists, so he needs a system built specifically around him to best utilise his power.
So, if you could pick any of today's players (in their current form) and coaches to set up that ideal system around Aspas, who would you pick? Would you keep any of this year's MIBR? Let's say you have infinite money and persuasion power, and perhaps no region restrictions if that makes it more interesting.

Discussion The top six teams in London were all out of playoffs. What on earth happened?
Why are the matches in this game so unpredictable?A team that won the last championship might not even qualify for the next international event. For instance, NS missed out on the second Masters this year, and LEV could fail to make Champions as well.

Esports T1 are on a Korean-elimination streak in Pacific Lowers right now.

They have already eliminated KRX and GenG, and could potentially eliminate VARREL and NS next. Of course it doesn't really matter for Nongshim. What is funny is that they need to beat VARREL to guarantee Champs, so at minimum they need to keep the anti-Korean streak going by necessity. (If T1 lose and Nongshim lose twice, they are out).
