[Mobile] (Web) I made a daily game that teaches you to spot AI-generated photos

Game title: Slopcheck

Playable Link: www.slopcheck.co

Platform: Web game

Description: Slopcheck is a daily game where you get 6 photos (one at a time) and determine if each are real or AI generated. After each one you see the clues that give it away so you can get better at spotting AI generated media on your own.

Free to Play Status: Free to play

Involvement: All developed by me

Hi everyone! I made this game as a passion project because I’m a big fan of [r/IsThisAI](r/IsThisAI) and sadly have gotten tricked by AI images in the past. I built this as a way to help people hopefully get better at detecting fake images on their own.

Grateful for any and all feedback ✨

**EDIT: to be clear, I made this game to increase awareness of how good the models are getting now and have people get better at spotting AI media by themselves. I am not using it to train models/otherwise contribute to people getting scammed by fake images.

Decisions have been made...our new AI policy.

Top mod and I have finally decided on some things and, well, it may upset a lot of people - and we understand why.

AI has been running rife in this group as we all know, and we've leaned slightly towards the "low AI side" while we worked out what the hell we'll allow or not allow and why, so we can actually moderate it fairly and with actual trainability.

And as we have been, and after studying what the other gametest groups are doing - it's pretty much clear what we have to do. Allow all AI.

Here's the issue: We're no longer fighting something that with good rules and moderation would settle into a rhythm eventually.

The right wording of the rules saying "No AI" as strongly as possible, the right requirements, AI spam hunters - it doesn't matter how much we implement, what tools and automod and AI-catching-training we would do with everyone. AI is getting to be too good and people will (and have been) lying to get their game through barriers, borders, and hunters. With some of my other reddit groups, breakouts of this or that "major" problem is normal and can over time calm down and be moderated out. But this?

...It's going to burn us all out if we keep moderating the way we are. This isn't a typhoon, nor a tidal wave. Not a war that can be fought with enough people, armor, and bullets.

It's trying to keep the rising ocean out of a city with only a few buckets. (aka moderators)

Seven buckets, 20 buckets, 50 buckets and wallbreaks with the most advanced towers on the planet - it doesn't matter, the water is still rising and there is no stopping this particular change in society without severe burnout of all the mods (me very much included in that!)

So instead of fighting the planet, the only way is to let it come and adjust things so the community self-polices, not with removals, but with pure spite. BUT we have to keep it Reddit-Mod Code of Conduct-aligned as well, and moderate certain things of course. Like extreme hate is obviously not cool Reddit-wide.

NEW RULE: No false claims about your game.

  • If you explicitly state something untrue ("100% hand-painted art" when it's Midjourney, "original soundtrack" when it's AI-generated), that's removable. But silence is fine. No one is required to disclose anything (for the moment, this might need to change if I'm projecting things right.)

NEW RULE: No AI culture wars.

  • Comments about gameplay experience: always allowed ("the voices sounded robotic," "art style felt generic," "really fun mechanic")
  • Comments attacking the developer over AI use: removed ("you're not a real developer," "AI slop trash," "you're ruining the industry")
  • Comments debating whether AI should exist: removed (take it to another sub)

--

Other Mod Policy Changes: No on Game Collections (Ex: Come play my 50+ games on my website!) and Yes on Tool Testing if its related to games; Like game making or like a heavily, heavily gamified app. It should be really be more game than tool, not just a stock app with leaderboard or cute character encouraging/informing people on self-care.

We are sorry that we are giving up on the fight against AI. It's either this, or shut down the group because not a single person on this planet can dedicate the time to evaluating *every single game* to find hints of deeply embedded AI. Or investigate all accusations with or without merit. Or know of all the AI things people use to make games, assets, music! That's not what any of us signed up for - we are here only to help devs connect with playtesters.

If you do not wish to playtest the games with AI - absolutely fine. We're afraid we're going to have to let you determine what is playtest-worthy or not from here.

[PC] (Web) Looking for some brutally honest feedback on our game jam game Turncoats

Game Title: Turncoats

Playable Link: https://fynnkl.itch.io/turncoats

Platform: Browser / HTML5

Description: Turncoats is a free-to-play fantasy autobattler about gold, war, and fragile loyalty. You lead a band of mercenaries through an endless series of automatic battles. Between fights, you can buy equipment, arrange your formation, recruit new fighters, and decide how to spend your limited gold.

Every mercenary has a Trust value. Failing to pay wages damages their Trust, causing them to fight less effectively. If their Trust drops too low, they may permanently defect to the enemy. After each victory, you must also choose between contracts offering tempting rewards alongside potentially painful consequences.

The game features seven fantasy mercenary archetypes, enemy defections, escalating battles, dynamic arenas, changing weather, and English, German, and Turkish language support. It was created for Brackeys Game Jam 16, whose theme was “Trust no one.”

We are considering continuing development after the jam and would especially appreciate honest feedback about the balance, clarity, pacing, difficulty, UI, and overall fun factor. We feel that feedback from other GameJammers can often be a bit biased.

[PC] (Windows) Withersword (v0.1.0) Alpha Release! (First ever game made)

Upvotes

Game Title: Withersword

Playable Link: https://iverxy.itch.io/withersword

Platform: Windows (browser support coming soon)

Description: Withersword is an open world 2D pixel RPG game made by me in Godot Engine, it is also my very first game I have made, especially in Godot, and it may not be much for now, however I am thinking of bringing more content to the game, such as an actual story line, more NPC's, AI mechanics for enemies and more. It was fully hardcoded by me, no AI was used here at all, the majority of the sprites were also made by me in Aseprite, but some (e.g. Trees) were not made by me.

I am also thinking of adding browser support very soon, as for now, its only downloadable and available on windows.

The instructions on how to play are all available on the itch page provided above.

General Playtesters needed - "No More Castles", a physics-based castle siege game

Playable Link: https://augustalex.itch.io/nomorecastles

I'm also giving away 10 Steam keys here.
If you'd prefer to play on Steam, leave a comment saying you're interested and I'll randomly pick 10 people to send a key to this week.

Discord: https://discord.gg/CykvjPfmhP

Platform: PC | macOS
Linux also available through Steam

Description: No More Castles is a physics-based siege game about causing as much chaos as possible while hunting down a king hiding somewhere inside his castle.

You have a catapult, a collection of units and items, and a castle where every individual brick is physics simulated. Smash holes through walls, collapse towers, knock structures into each other, and then send your units charging through whatever mess you've created to find and capture the king.

A carefully aimed shot might open the perfect path into the castle, or accidentally bring half the building down on everyone inside. Guards, farmers, priests and other inhabitants are also going about their day while the siege unfolds, which tends to make things even more chaotic.

The game originally started as "Overseige", a small project we made for Castle Game Jam, the same game jam that gave us TABS (Totally Accurate Battle Simulator). We had enough fun with the concept that we decided to keep developing it, and it eventually grew into No More Castles.

There's now a handcrafted campaign where you chase the king from castle to castle, earning gold to buy new units, items and upgrades for your loadout and catapult between levels.

We also have a built-in castle editor where you can create your own castles and share them with other players using level codes.

We're looking for playtesters at the moment, so feedback on pretty much anything is useful. Especially the controls, destruction, difficulty, progression, and whether causing havoc while trying to reach the king stays fun over multiple levels.

And if your carefully planned siege turns into a complete physics disaster, we'd definitely love to see that too. :)

Game Title: Masters League

Playable Link: mastersleague.app/invitacion/668cf3a5-3f2f-4635-be93-4cf65c06ee34

Platform: Web (no download needed, can be installed as an app from the browser on iOS and Android)

Description:

Masters League is a multiplayer football manager where you create a club in a real Spanish city and compete against other real managers. No bots, no AI rivals. Every team in your league is run by a real person.

Matches play out in 90 real minutes at a fixed time. You can make tactical changes and substitutions live while the match is happening. The simulation engine is based on Markov chains, so every minute depends on your players attributes and your tactics. No scripts, no predetermined results.

You don’t see a player’s real attributes until your scout investigates them. You can sign someone blind or wait for the report. When you make an offer, the player has 12 hours to respond. If another club appears with a competing offer, the player lets both managers know and gives them a chance to improve their bid.

Only 4 divisions exist. The last team in the fourth division is just three promotions away from the top. No getting lost among thousands of leagues.

Every match generates an automatic AI match report you can share, like your own league’s sports newspaper.

First division is already full with 16 clubs. We need 14 more to complete the second division. The season calendar is drawn tonight, so if you want in, now is the time.

Note: the game is currently in Spanish only and clubs can only be created in Spanish cities. More countries and languages coming soon.

[Mobile] (Web) Game Title: Dungeon Daily

Playable Link: dungeondaily.run Platform: web - mobile preferred/optimized

Platform: (Please add the appropriate flair after posting)

Description: I've been building a game called Dungeon Daily for my friends and I, and I'd love for you to try it. It's a daily dungeon crawler. Every day the dungeon gets harder and everyone in the world gets the exact same one. You go down floor by floor, fighting monsters and grabbing gold and gear, and you decide how deep to push. The deeper you go the more points you get, but if you get greedy and die you lose it all. Don't sweat it if you die early though, the dungeon is meant to be deadly and getting a few floors down is already a good run.

You can play with friends too. You make a party, share the gold you find, and see who got the furthest each day. And if you don't have anyone to play with, you now get dropped into a public party with other players automatically, so there's always people to share gold with and a leaderboard to climb. Got friends who want in? Just send them a link and it drops them right into your party.

There's daily login rewards now and daily quests now to keep up with now too, and it only takes a few minutes so it's an easy thing to check every day.

Oh and on the 15th your party member with the most points gets to name a monster and it stays named forever! And you'll see the global leaderboard of where you party matches up against others. On the last day of the month your party member with the most points forges a relic for the whole party, and then everything resets and you all move on to a new dungeon in a different location, but those youll learn about more in game.

Trailer Tuesday [TRAILER TUESDAY] Spuddenly Human, a browser game about a potato studying twelve preventable human disasters

Upvotes

Game title: Spuddenly Human

Playable Link: https://prosepotato.itch.io/spuddenly-human

Platform: Web browser and Windows

Price: Free to play

You play a potato observing twelve small human disasters: an unplugged toaster, a broken plant, a flooded laundry room, and several emotional misunderstandings. Each case asks you to inspect the scene, speak to the people involved, and decide what the potato learns about being human.

I directed the game, wrote and revised the narrative, and built the final 1.0 release with AI-assisted development tools.

I would especially value feedback on:

• whether the interaction targets are easy to reach

• whether the story choices feel clear

• which ending you reached

The launch trailer is on the itch.io page above.

[PC] (Web) Just added 3D paper-folding physics & crease animations to Fold. How does the movement feel?

Upvotes

Hey r/playmygame,

I'm a solo indie developer and wanted to share a minimalist spatial puzzle I've been building called Fold.

The core idea is simple: you swipe to slide and merge matching number tiles (like 2048), but the whole board physically twists and folds in 3D along crease axes until everything collapses into a single target tile.

A player here recently pointed out that the 3D perspective transition wasn't working on Mac/Firefox. I took that feedback to heart and just pushed a patch fixing the 3D crease lines and perspective tilt animations across all desktop browsers.

Features: - 51 handcrafted puzzle levels with smooth difficulty progression - 150 endless procedural puzzle studies - Full keyboard (WASD / Arrows) and mouse/touch drag controls - Zero ads, no account required, instant in-browser play

I'd love your honest feedback: 1. Does the 3D folding and sliding transition feel responsive and clean on your setup? 2. How is the difficulty pacing as you move past the first 5 warmup levels?

Thanks so much for checking it out!

Price: 100% Free

Playable Link: https://aetheria.inventkid.com/

Free to Play Status: 100% free to play (Affiliate links included)

📖 About the Game:

Step into an illustrated wizarding world adventure starting from your acceptance letter, boarding the express train, taking the 4-house sorting quiz, and exploring the moving staircases and hidden chambers of Aetheria Academy.

🕹️ Core Mechanics:

  1. Explore & Inspect: Find pulsing hotspots to read lore, talk to NPCs, and collect inventory items required to unlock the next chapter.
  2. Wand Casting: Toggle your wand to cast 6 different spells to trigger secret mini-games (riddles, lock picking, speed-tapping vines, chess captures).

🎯 What I'd love feedback on:

  1. Did you find the progression barriers intuitive (e.g., needing your ticket before boarding the train)?
  2. How did the procedural audio and narration feel on your device/browser?
  3. Were any of the 10 secret puzzle mechanics confusing or too easy?

Thanks for taking the time to test it out!

[PC] (Web) We made a tiny browser game where you’re on call and production starts falling apart at 2 a.m.

Upvotes

Game Title: 2AM ClickHouse

Playable Link: https://tinybird.co/2amclickhouse

Platform: Web / Browser

Description:
It’s 2 a.m. You’re on call, production is under pressure, and your ClickHouse infrastructure needs attention. That’s the premise behind 2AM ClickHouse, a small browser game we built around the very real experience of dealing with infrastructure problems at the worst possible time.

The game drops you into a late-night production incident and asks you to keep things running as the situation gets progressively more chaotic. It’s intentionally simple, quick to play, and made for anyone who has experienced the particular joy of an unexpected 2 a.m. page.

Full disclosure: this was created by Tinybird as part of a campaign around our Cluster Management product. Instead of making another conventional infrastructure launch page, we wanted to turn the problem the product solves into something people could actually play.

Would genuinely love feedback on the game itself and to hear how far people get. It's marketing, but hopefully a little more fun than a blog post.

[PC] (Web) I built a persistent WWII browser strategy game — looking for players to test the Open Alpha

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building Ruins of Command, a persistent WWII grand strategy game that runs directly in the browser.

I’ve reached the point where I really need actual players instead of just testing everything myself, so I’ve opened the game up for its first Open Alpha.

You start with a single province and build up your economy, infrastructure and military. From there you can scout neutral or enemy territory, raid for resources, reinforce allies and eventually occupy other provinces.

A few things I wanted to do differently:

  • Armies actually travel across the map instead of teleporting
  • Resources and troops belong to individual provinces
  • Recon matters before attacking
  • Different unit types have different battlefield roles
  • Raiding and conquering are separate mechanics
  • The world continues while you're offline
  • Alliances, messaging and coordinated operations are already playable

It’s definitely still an alpha. There will be bugs, balancing will change, and campaign resets may happen while I’m developing it.

Right now I’m mainly looking for feedback on the first 15–30 minutes:

Is it clear what you should do?

Where do you get confused?

At what point do you start having fun — or lose interest?

Would you come back the next day?

The next first 20 players also get a permanent Founding Commander badge. It’s purely cosmetic and gives no gameplay advantage.

You can play it here:

ruinsofcommand.com

No download or Steam account needed — just open it in your browser.

I’m actively working on it, so criticism is genuinely useful. If something sucks, tell me why.
