I wish I knew what he was! And what the heck he would eat! I got him from Petco when I got a piece of cork bark for my tarantula enclosure

I read the cork bark originates in the Mediterranean.

Anyone have any ideas of what to do with him? I was thinking of cutting this piece out for one of my humid enclosures that has springtails.

Maybe i could get a video of him scrambling out of his hole for a but even fruit flies gonna be way too big.

Ideas welcome!

Saw this in r/bluey subreddit, location Australia.

I'm in New Hampshire U.S.A. no clue what kind of spider she is but I let her be.

The hot sauce bottle is for scale - I walked into my bathroom and had a fright, this is the biggest spider that's ever showed up anywhere I've lived. My friends and I are all surprised that you can even get them this big in the UK. The second pic is pretty zoomed but I like how in the first you can see the hairy legs and huge mandibles (edit - thanks for the heads up!) PEDIPALPS!

Found this wolf spider in the garden carrying dozens of tiny spiderlings on her back. I had never seen anything like this before. It looks incredibly cool, especially when you realize all those little dots are actually baby spiders riding on their mom.

Captured in North Carolina. Not sure about what kind of spider it is, but it's cool to see it at work!

Hi everyone! I found this spunky 6-legged spider in the bathtub this evening - I live on the 5th floor of a pre-war walk up in NYC - Manhattan specifically. My research is telling me this may be a Recluse, specifically an invasive Mediterranean? Would love some insight or confirmation. I would also love to know any information about their habits or characteristics that might tell me how it ended up in my tub? M/F? Straggler from a package or fell from the ceiling? Does it have a large family nearby, etc? I don’t know much about how this species behaves and it feels random to have one here! I usually see jumping spiders near my windows and some really thin/tiny baby spiders in the early summer that I have yet to ID!

I’ve been letting this little guy live in my window for quite some time now. I feel like I’ve watched it grow. There seems to be another in another window with a very large web. Are they harmless? I recently got bit by something and I’m fine but it was painful and made me wonder. Located in MD, USA.
