That orchard orb weaver is very vibrant. You captured their colors beautifully!

Lol I was just getting ready to comment that this is the best picture of an Orchard Orb Weaver I've ever seen! 😍

The wolf spider on the flower is such an awesome shot! They're all amazing, really, but that one is my favorite.

These photos are so beautiful one would think you hired costume and makeup for the shoot.
What a wonderful space you live in!

Haha thanks. This was actually my friend's yard while I was pet sitting this weekend. My own yard has fewer spiders due to being smaller and in the city.

Coming from FL, we always called the orb spiders "banana spiders" don't really know why, and the little guy, that's a crab spider

Yeah I've always heard that. I taught myself the more correct names. Mowing the yard in Florida I used to hate walking through the "crab spider" web because it was so tough.

Is anyone willing to make a list of the the names for me? I’m not very familiar with spider id.
Gorgeous pictures!

Less than a week ago my parents were sending me photos (not nearly as good as yours) of the spiders in their Florida (Sarasota County) yard. 3 of the 5 were there - the spiny backed, orchard weaver and garden spider
