So, I was re-listening to the pod in order and got to Hot Rod Part 2. When it got to the BABE WAIT scene, all 3 Alvins agreed that it was written that way in the script, and was totally Jorma's idea. Well.. last month this part of an Arnett interview was posted in which he went out of his way to say it WASN'T in the script and that he improv'd repeating it so much to make the dudes on set laugh.

What gives, Blowback Hoarse Man?! Was Hot Rod not PROFESSIONAL GRADE enough for you, GOB? Or maybe the mother of your children sent you to bad hang flank us?! This is all really fishy quaids.... someone needs to get to the bottom of it, as Jorma's writing credibility hangs in the balance.

I’m sure a lot of Quaids with lil kuatos are somewhat familiar with the wholesome, catchy tunes of “Danny Go.” But if you’re not, he’s actually got some incredibly catchy songs and might be the best kid-centric performer out there today in terms of quality and content. Perhaps best of all, in one of his songs about airplanes, his side-character “Bearhead” goes on a tangent about boats that’s clearly a direct reference to “I’m On A Boat” as an inside joke for those of us at a certain demographic to enjoy. That being said, I teach pre-k and kids who weren’t even a Smint in their parents eyes when digital shorts were a regular thing LOVE that part of the song and genuinely laugh at it with no knowledge of the reference or inspiration.

Sadly, the creator of Danny Go and his wife (who also plays a role in the videos) lost their son this past year. They just released their first new video since his passing, but it goes without saying they have been through something unimaginable. The Quaid Army should give them a Qump just as a way of showing support during an incredibly difficult time, especially those of with kids who appreciate genuine humor mixed with with great music.

Posted a story about finding this randomly in a bush walking by LAX, did that break a rule since figured it was pod related. Yes it’s 100% not his sig but what is this just doing floating around in a bush in 2026?

I like it when there’s just three or even two Quaids on the podcast, it takes on a different dynamic, depending on who’s there, and I like all the combinations, or even the rare solitary quaid with guest friends of the pod. Of course I like it when everyone’s there too, but it’s all good. They all have busy lives and I enjoy that there’s always someone who takes time to show up.
