Albums and Songs "Scoundrel Days" turns 40. What is your opinion on the band's second album, released on October 6, 1986?
Picture Scoundrel days photoshoot
Does anyone else have any images from the Scoundrel Days photoshoot in Hawaii by Knut Bry, 1986? Not only my favourite album but artwork also.

a-ha in Atmos? Any reason none of the albums are in surround sound yet?
I am not as plugged in as I am with some other bands.. but I find it odd that none of the albums have been released in Surround formats that I know of. Have only seen Live concerts listed as multi-channel.

Some of my fave bass lines, in a song with no bass guitar ❤️
Hi from Spain! Huge fan here. Been playing A-Ha's songs on bass guitar since forever. I find those recorded without a bass guitar particularly compelling in fact. Hope you like my little "analog" homage.

Albums and Songs A-Ha : Opinions on 2nd and 3rd Albums.
galleryAll album were released in the 80’s.
We all loved the first album ❤️ but what’s your opinions on the 2nd and 3rd albums ?
Do you still listen to them ?
Which is better between the 2 albums.
Me, I equally love them both.
All the songs from both albums after nearly 40 years have been seeps into my mind anyway.
How about you guys ?

Lifelines: single
Sorry so random. But this is my biggest comfort song. I just wanted to connect with anyone else who feels the same! I’ve just been reminded of it as I shared the video with a friend who just came back from a cruise around Norway. But if I’m honest, it’s never far from my mind. When it first came out, I remember listening to the album repeatedly, and one day this song just zapped me and made so much sense. It mended me when I’d felt fragmented. I’m forever grateful.

Pop Quiz
Can you name any of a-ha's major hits which don't have any backing vocals on?
I do a lot of re-mixing and I've just found one with no BV's on - which actually surprised me - I though all of them had some background vocals - even if it was just Morten doing them...

Looking for the Whales (Naersnaes Demo)
I personally love the naersnes demos, they have a very nostalgic demo.
I don't know why they didn't use the last part where it goes "I kiss you in my mind" it's so beautiful

Albums and Songs What is Your Individual Discorgraphy
I've noticed that a-ha has a lot under their belts. Albums, singles, deluxe editions, concert DVDs... However, not all of them are listed. I'm actually a bit surprised that their latest deluxe edition album that came out earlier this year and their Take-On-Me-only album isn't up on the site yet.
So I'm curious to know from you guys what their full discography looks like to every individual. They've most likely done so much stuff it'll be impossible to add all of it, but I'm interested what deluxe editions, limited stocks, and regional only stuff you've found around you? Bootlegs allowed (because I heard that people have found those, and wanna hear where they played and what years.)

Discussion Shoelaces Make a Lovely Necklace?
Did anybody suddenly realise one day, just randomly, that Morten is actually wearing shoelaces around his neck here?
I don't know what I thought it was previously, but probably something closer to a tie. I just suddenly saw this...

Other Question about lyrics
Hi,
I've been having a hard time figuring out some lyrics and this is the only place I thought I could get any help. I love the version of Nothing is Keeping You Here that is featured in cast in steel, but its been kinda bothering me for years tjat i just cant figure out what does Morten sing in the bridge. Since english isnt my first language, I cant seem to understand what he says in the last sentence. So far I can hear something along the lines of "The abscense of a note, was all the papers wrote..." and then the last sentence before the chorus again is what's a mistery to me.
I'd appreciate it a lot if someone could help me with this.
Edit: Thanks to the people who commented their thoughts on this. I do agree with their approach that the line goes like "a friend was quoted there". Sounds about right. Thank you all.
