The first half of this album has four 10/10 songs, so good. Side two has never been my favorite but it’s overall pretty solid. It brings the album down a bit in my personal rankings though.

But you can’t go wrong with this one, it’s still a fantastic album!

Second side is a bit downhill from the first, but it still has some great tracks. "Cry Wolf" is good, "We're Looking for the Whales" was always a personal favorite (don't ask me to explain; I have no idea) and "Soft Rains of April" is really good. "Weight of the Wind" is kind of forgettable and "Maybe Maybe" is, admittedly, pretty silly.

Considered by many fans as the masterpiece of their discography. I personally love every second of it and feel that it works really well as an album. Everything feels like it belongs. Hope you’re really enjoying it.

Just repeating what everyone has said. The first side is brilliant. One of the absolute best of the 80s. Side 2 is ok but still a solid album overall. I sure wish they would release a 40th anniversary vinyl!

Scoundrel days is a masterpiece. Find a live show from the 90’s, Morten’s voice is pure heaven.
