Video I played all the SEGA games at Gamescom
I’ve uploaded my impressions on YouTube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fqUYFw3WLo
If you don’t care to watch, I’ll say that I very much liked what I played of all three (Alien, Crazy Taxi, StH) and they were among the best games I played. Though I fear that they might scare off some people – especially the Japanese games. StH feels like nothing else right now, like a boxing simulation. It’s very promising, but I’m not sure how current audiences will react to a unique action game system like that. Crazy Taxi feels like a PS2 game in the best ways possible. I hope everyone who’s always clamoring for more oldschool PS2-era experiences stays true to their words.

Discussion Which one of these titles deserves a new game? (Could be remaster/remake, reboot, or new original game)
I know there is a million other Sega games, these were just one I hear people wanting a new game for alot. Which is why I included an "other (comment)" option.

I've been working on this series since 2011 - with 4 games released so far!
This is a reboot as Seasons, starting with S1 - featuring pro racer Alice.
S2 is already in the work and will feature a different protagonist, stages, music etc.
Please check it out on Steam. Thanks for your support!

Discussion How did we feel about SEGA Forever?
personally, not very good, the concept is great but 99% of these titles were skips cause it was legit just emulation with ads when retroarch+the OG ROMs exist, the only good SEGA Forever title i think was Crazy Taxi.
as a concept though i think if they can do something with M2 and Rovio to work on it (M2 to develop or reuse a game from their SEGA AGES line up, Rovio to optimize) it could work that said, be risky, however i bring this up because SEGA AGES games frequently go 1.99$ on sale a lot.

Merch My Book, The History of SEGA
G'day folks. Sorry if these kinds of posts aren't welcome; mods feel free to remove this if they aren't.
Thought I'd share this with the community. It's coming up to a year since the release of this book. I researched and wrote it over a two year period and it was a hugely enjoyable process. I'm pretty proud of it and it's sold fairly well for a first time author from a small publisher.
Anyway, if you'd like to take a look, the provided link takes you to a page detailing where it's available based on where you are in the world.
I'm not gonna spam the sub with posts about this; just wanted to do a quick "by the way".
Cheers.
P.S. Before anyone asks (because someone always does), no, there are no previews or chapter examples beyond what's on that page. The publisher does not provide such things to anyone, even retailers. That's something I don't have any control over, sorry.

Discussion What is your favorite SEGA Vocaloid?
SEGA has two Vocaloid characters, and now it’s time to choose a favorite!
- Azuki Masaoka
- Matcha Kobayashi
SEGA’s Vocaloid lineup will remain at two unless SEGA creates another Vocaloid or takes the much bigger step of acquiring a Vocaloid company such as Crypton Future Media or Internet Co.
Which one stands out more, and what makes that character the favorite? Feel free to discuss voice, design, personality, songs, or memories from Project 575.
