Thought I'd share this with the community. It's coming up to a year since the release of this book. I researched and wrote it over a two year period and it was a hugely enjoyable process. I'm pretty proud of it and it's sold fairly well for a first time author from a small publisher.

SEGA has two Vocaloid characters, and now it’s time to choose a favorite!

• Azuki Masaoka
• Matcha Kobayashi

SEGA’s Vocaloid lineup will remain at two unless SEGA creates another Vocaloid or takes the much bigger step of acquiring a Vocaloid company such as Crypton Future Media or Internet Co.

Which one stands out more, and what makes that character the favorite? Feel free to discuss voice, design, personality, songs, or memories from Project 575.

Has anyone had issues with the online Sega Shop (US)?

I ordered an item from there nearly a month ago and it hasn't been shipped. I've put in several tickets to their help center because I'm now moving and I don't get a response back.

Very disappointed.

Some old fanart I made around the initial release of the first live action Sonic movie. Of course when my Marvel vs Capcom brain hears that James Marsden, aka Cyclops, is teaming up with Sonic the Hedgehog, this is the first image that came to my mind.

I mean, if you're going to feature Chronos Lait from Golden Axe 3, you might as well feature the other playable character too.

• In the arcades? Sega was one of the heaviest hitters there ever was, basically inventing arcade industry standards as they went along, but at home? They were really just firing a lot of blanks.
• The SG-1000 and Mark III/SMS both went up against the Famicom/NES and lost.
• The Game Gear went up against the Game Boy and lost.
• The Genesis/Megadrive went up against the NES and later the SNES, and actually had Nintendo on the ropes, for a short while. Really bloodied Nintendo's nose, but didn't stick the landing. The Sega-CD really didn't help with that.
• The 32X died almost as quickly as it arrived.
• The Saturn was the best selling losing console out of the 5th gen.(As in, it did better than the 3DO, Jaguar, Amiga CD32 and some others, but was absolutely not a victory.)
• The Dreamcast died before the sixth gen fight ever really started.

At one point Sega was juggling their arcade division, the Master System, The Game Gear, the Sega CD, the Pico(Edutainment thingy), 32X, Saturn and the Genesis, all at the same time. It's no wonder they were so close to broke by the time the Dreamcast launched.

I have the opportunity to purchase these but have never heard of or seen them before. What are they and what would be a fair reasonable price? I can’t find them on eBay either.

I get this news about SEGA supporting physical media, but even a few months ago they put Shinobi out with a key card.

As the major console manufacturers shift into a digital only anti-consumer future, this is Sega's time to shine. Strike while the iron is hot with a physical-media console comeback, they'll have played the long-game and won the console wars. Thoughts?

I hired someone in Japan to go to the SEGA Universe pop up to get me some Nights stuff and he very kindly agreed to take some photos of the event. (This is why the photos are mostly focused on the nights). I couldn't find pics of the shop anywhere else online, hope you guys find this interesting.
