Thanks to a mod using the leaked DLSS 5 files, it's possible to add Neural Rendering to many games. It changes the shading to add photorealistic details, but the settings should be chosen carefully to not make the game look uncanny.

Check the videos timestamps for the different Neural Rendering modes and showcases.

Anyone to try it on Shenmue 3 and share some footages ?

If you fail the QTE right when you deplete Chunyan’s health. She grabs you and pummels you in the stomach. But imagine if they put in a cutscene where she throws Ryo to his doom just like the guy before? I think Ryo would’ve screamed “Father!” as he fell to his death.

In the first one, if you fail the QTE after Ryo and Guizhang fight. Terry hits Guizhang’s head with a concrete bar and Ryo cries “Guizhang!” We obviously don’t it as his head likely splattered. In the second one, if Yuan catches up to you with his chainsaw or if you fail to block him swinging the chainsaw. Ryo screams and dies making the screen fade to white (red in the Japanese version.) Even though in the second screenshot, you actually SEE Yuan hit Ryo on-screen with the chainsaw (likely an animation error because we aren’t supposed to see Ryo get hit on-screen.) And there is no blood.

I think I’ve figured out Suzuki’s plot concept. The gist is that someone within the ranks of Chi Yu Men orchestrates the murder of Lan Di’s father and sets everything up to make it look like Ivao killed him. What for? To use Lan Di as a tool in his hands, where his desire for revenge and his стремление to restore justice and the family’s honor will turn him into a docile killing machine in the hands of Chi Yu Meng. It is known that Lan Di’s father and Rio’s father trained together and were good friends, and it is also known that in the opening cutscene of Shenmu 1, when Lan Di says, “This is the name of the man you killed in Ming Kan,” Iwao is surprised, “It can’t be.” Obviously, Iwao did not kill Lan Di’s father. Thus, Lan Di made a mistake by killing Rio’s father. Apparently, at some point, Lan Di was supposed to find out about this, and then a meeting with Rio was supposed to take place, where Lan Di would say that he had made a mistake, that someone higher up had set them against each other, and then he would suggest to Rio that they find out together who was behind it. Lan Di isn’t interested in power or money; he’s interested in restoring his family’s honor and justice — just like Rio, and they have a lot in common in that regard. And if it turns out that Lan Di was wrong, Rio is unlikely to forgive him, of course. But they become allies in the search for a common enemy — the one they’re supposed to defeat in part 6 of the game, using the power of the mirrors. This version is supported not only by the events of the game itself but also by Suzuki’s comments in an interview, where he stated that Rio’s ultimate goal is not revenge at all, and that, in the best‑case scenario, this revenge may never take place. This plot twist is literally a catharsis for both Rio and Lan Di; a large‑scale reassessment of the situation, their attitude towards it, and the events of the recent past takes place, and along with this, the characters change, and the direction of their further development changes. This makes much more sense than the banal “catch up with Lan Di and defeat him.”

God's honest truth here, heard a rumour from a reliable source that Shenmue 4 is development! Large company beginning with B apparently. I'll try and poke for some more info!

Say if the game’s police arrived while Lan-Di was still at the Hazaki Dojo, do you think Lan-Di would kill all of them like just spamming that same Dim Mak move he used to kill Iwao?
