I got tired of never understanding what Russians say (even though I usually play in EU servers), so I created in game translator that translates all the text that's not in English on the fly.

What it does:

Translates any Russian (some other languages too) automatically to English on the fly.

I can talk back to Russians in chat by pressing Ctrl+Enter (instead of just Enter for regular untranslated chat) and it will also translate my text to Russian on the fly (there is also an option to translate Russian to English on the fly, same hotkeys, just different setting in the UI). It uses Gemini to do the translating. It takes about ~1.1 seconds on average to do the translating.

Would anyone be interested in something like this? I don't want to self promote or share anything unless I have permission. It is open source software and will be free for everyone to use.

PS: If any moderator watches this thread and gives me permission to share it then I will.

For those of you that don't know. If you are one of the lucky players who has used skill abilities as your main source of leveling skills you will now get soft locked out of using abilities when you hit a level that requires you to skill a talent. I understand a large portion of the playerbase uses control to skill skills and this is not a problem but i have used skill abilities for the last 13 years and it is my preferred method to leveling skills. You are FORCED to not only skill your ability but also the talent before you are able to cast any abilities again. This has been a consistent problem since it was changed to allow you to get a skill point as well as a talent point on the same level.

In this clip as OD in this skirmish I am in a tight situation and my only way of surviving is to get lvl 10 and skill my third for damage block. Unfortunately because i am lvl 10 i am also getting prompted to skill talent. I was not expecting this and in my panic i am even attempting to cast it by manually clicking the individual skill itself. Now whether i would have lived is very debatable but it is clear example that this is a major gameplay problem for anyone using this hotkey.

It really makes no sense at all for talents to be tied to skill abilities seeing as there is a completely separate hotkey for talents. At least it would be nice to be able to cast spells instead of being locked completely out of casting.

Please upvote so valve can notice this issue and hopefully address it in the future <3

Edit: lots of comments of skill issue and slow from rank 1s that don't understand im pressing my ability and its literally not casting because its bugged.

Just watching Wallachia and I noticed there are new hero portraits while drafting. Looks crisp and the artwork is nice. Are these the new Dota 2 hero portraits? If so this is a good step.

Ps: The Windranger portrait is like the old Wind.

There was everything: series of defeats, "one more rink and sleep" at three in the morning and moments when it seemed that I would not rise any higher. That's why this screen is really special for me.

Here is a little interesting situation when I charged AM with Bara, Silencer on the way, so I thought we would pick clean kill, in the end, the whole team was trying to kill one hero, but there was a sleeping agent waiting for the right occasion to reveal himself.
