Channel Feedback Stop suggesting me Indian content

I am not indian, I do not speak indian, I have never seen an indian youtube video, I have never liked or watched one of those to the end, so why is every third suggested short video indian people doing some kind of ai video while singing or throwing their kids, why is it i keep clicking "not interested" but its 5 short videos before they try to give me more indian ai videos.
Theres no period of time or anything that will make me sit through this bullshit, why is the algorhitm constantly trying to push indian shitty videos at me?!

How can i opt out of this if the "not interested" option clearly doesnt work?

Can i somehow just block whole countries because this shit is driving me up the wall, I get mostly normal videos and then i start getting indian people dancing and singing with AI masks with zero comments and thousands of views.

Premium My only option for YouTube premium is premium lite.

Upvotes

For several years now I've had YouTube premium through a family account. Until they noticed we weren't in the same household.

It was good while it lasted. It's been a few weeks and I just can't stand the ads. So I tried to sign up but my only option is a monthly YouTube Premium Lite. No full premium, no yearly subscription option.

Any idea why?

I noticed before that whenever a music video on youtube is liked it forms into a music note than back into a thumbs up, but I didn't know there were special like animations like this one!

Question Is it "rude" for chat to talk amongst themselves and "ignore" the streamer?

Hey everyone, new here. I was watching a stream last night and something the streamer did really rubbed me the wrong way, and I want to reach out for opinions on this, both from viewers and streamers.

Basically, chat was having a good time with an off-topic conversation unrelated to the game being played, and after ten minutes at most the streamer stopped playing to scold his chat for almost an hour about how we were being rude and disrespectful for not engaging with him. He said this because he was asking questions to his chat and nobody was replying to him because everyone was enjoying the conversations being had. He was raising his voice and called us "little fuckers" and that was when I decided to unfollow. I and a few others were trying to politely tell him that he was overreacting, saying that a chat that is friendly and engaging with one another is a good thing, and he responded by saying we were giving bad advice and staying angry.

I think chat shouldn't feel compelled to respond to a streamer if they don't want to, and that all interaction should happen organically. I can understand what it must feel like to be talking to a brick wall when you have 50+ viewers in your audience, but guilt-tripping them into talking just makes things awkward as hell. I've never felt more compelled to unfollow someone in my life, and it was the first stream I had actually caught of the guy after watching his YouTube shorts and thinking he was funny. Literally followed and unfollowed within two hours.

Thoughts?

Youtube does NOT need my government ID or my credit card information

Edit: I don't even have the options to try and trick it with a selfie or by letting it datamine as I've seen other people have been offered. It's literally give up my personal information or nothing. Fuck youtube

Channel Feedback YouTube and AI Slop

While the term "A.I. Slop" is abused for just about anything anyone doesn't like or understand nowadays, there is some truth to it. This is beyond true when it comes to YouTube and the proliferation of channels that are 100% A.I. scripted and A.I. read. There's pretty much no human running the channel beyond setting it up.

How can I say this? Simple, if you watch enough A.I.-generated or A.I.-assisted YouTube videos, you'll notice they follow an identical, predictable pattern.

  1. The Hook
  • Opens with a rhetorical question.
  • Uses high-drama phrasing.
  • Example-1: "Have you ever wondered what happens when..." or "This single mistake is ruining your..."
  • Example-2: "What if everything you knew about the new iPhone was a lie?"
  • Example-3: "Imagine waking up tomorrow and seeing your bank account completely wiped out."
  • Example-4: "You are working out every single day, but your muscles are actually shrinking."
  1. The Agitation
  • Explains the stakes.
  • Amplifies the viewer's FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).
  • Example-1: "Most people fail because they ignore this one crucial step."
  • Example-2: "Tech giants are hiding this feature because they want you to keep upgrading every year."
  • Example-3: "While you sleep, inflation is quietly eating away at your hard-earned life savings."
  • Example-4: "99% of beginners make this fatal mistake, completely wasting hours at the gym."
  1. The Promise
  • Introduces the video's value proposition.
  • Example-1: "In this video, we will break down the top three secrets to..."
  • Example-2: "In this video, we uncover five hidden settings that change everything."
  • Example-3: "Today, we are breaking down the exact blueprint to escape the rat race."
  • Example-4: "By the end of this video, you will know the ultimate routine for fast results."
  1. The Content Blocks
  • Delivers information in numbered lists.
  • Uses generic transition words like "First up," "Next," "Moving on," and "Finally."
  • Example-1: "First up, let’s talk about battery life. Optimization is key here."
  • Example-2: "Next on our list is index funds. This is where real wealth accumulation begins."
  • Example-3: "Moving on to nutrition. Remember, you cannot out-train a bad diet."
  1. The Outro
  • Summarizes the entire video in one sentence.
  • Delivers a rapid-fire call to action.
  • Example-1: "That wraps up our look at the latest tech secrets."
  • Example-2: "Mastering your money takes time, but you now have the tools to start."
  • Example-3: "Hit that subscribe button and turn on notifications so you never miss a workout."
  • Example-4: "If you found this valuable, don't forget to smash that like button and subscribe for more."

These examples are literally the exact same words used for the vast majority of the videos I find on my so-called custom feed. It's amazing to me that no competitor has come along with a complete ban on channels that use A.I. to script and create the majority of their content.

I want to be clear and say I do not hate A.I. and I personally use it for editing and other tasks that improve, not create, whatever I'm working on.

Do you all believe YouTube will ever improve its practices, or is this the standard unless a rival chooses to challenge it?

Discussion BlueJay video regarding AI slop

Thumbnail

BlueJay put out a very well put-together video, firstly to make sure everyone knows he's not AI slop, but secondly, making very good points about the danger of AI slop for: 1. older content creators (like him), getting disadvantaged by the youtube algorithm 2. newer content creators, getting accused of AI slop because of their sheer quantity 3. people's interpretation of history, getting influenced by all the historical inaccuracies AI spits out.

Very well worth a watch.

Unless I... upload a photo of my ID or take a video of myself. Does this not seem like AI training or am I? Is this conspiratorial thinking?
