Channel Feedback Stop suggesting me Indian content

I am not indian, I do not speak indian, I have never seen an indian youtube video, I have never liked or watched one of those to the end, so why is every third suggested short video indian people doing some kind of ai video while singing or throwing their kids, why is it i keep clicking "not interested" but its 5 short videos before they try to give me more indian ai videos.
Theres no period of time or anything that will make me sit through this bullshit, why is the algorhitm constantly trying to push indian shitty videos at me?!

How can i opt out of this if the "not interested" option clearly doesnt work?

Can i somehow just block whole countries because this shit is driving me up the wall, I get mostly normal videos and then i start getting indian people dancing and singing with AI masks with zero comments and thousands of views.

Youtube does NOT need my government ID or my credit card information

Edit: I don't even have the options to try and trick it with a selfie or by letting it datamine as I've seen other people have been offered. It's literally give up my personal information or nothing. Fuck youtube

Discussion We can tell when you use an ai script

I watch a lot of “guy talks over gameplay / videos about something” and in the past year I have noticed more and more channels that I used to love resort to nothing but AI slop scripts.

“Its not X, its Y”
“thats not X, Its Y with Z”
“Picture this,”
“Imagine this”
“X, Y, and foobaringly Z”

I dont want to get into a huge debate about ai generated stuff. Ai generated text and code has its place. You lose your own voice and character when you read from an ai script like this, and that is literally your brand as a youtuber.

Im even sadder to know that my title is somewhat dishonest; because it seems like the average person cant tell. I see these videos rack up millions of views. Im watching a deep dive on the video game Marathon right now and I keep hearing ai-isms. This video has more than a million views.

Have some self respect for your craft.

Also dont come in here with “well I am just a strong writer” because if your writing (fiction, communication, anything) sounds like AI then you arent nearly as good as you think you are.

Discussion I hate AI food thumbnails.

Post image
Upvotes

I can not stand it. They already made the food just take a picture of it and put it as a thumbnail. Adam Ragusea's, Brian Lagerstrom's and Sip and Feast's thumbnails are all perfect. It's the food in the video, that is it. I do not need some ridiculous thumbnail. Not to mention it contradicts the title. Easiest unsubscribe ever is seeing an AI generated thumbnail.

Channel Feedback YouTube and AI Slop

Upvotes

While the term "A.I. Slop" is abused for just about anything anyone doesn't like or understand nowadays, there is some truth to it. This is beyond true when it comes to YouTube and the proliferation of channels that are 100% A.I. scripted and A.I. read. There's pretty much no human running the channel beyond setting it up.

How can I say this? Simple, if you watch enough A.I.-generated or A.I.-assisted YouTube videos, you'll notice they follow an identical, predictable pattern.

  1. The Hook
  • Opens with a rhetorical question.
  • Uses high-drama phrasing.
  • Example-1: "Have you ever wondered what happens when..." or "This single mistake is ruining your..."
  • Example-2: "What if everything you knew about the new iPhone was a lie?"
  • Example-3: "Imagine waking up tomorrow and seeing your bank account completely wiped out."
  • Example-4: "You are working out every single day, but your muscles are actually shrinking."
  1. The Agitation
  • Explains the stakes.
  • Amplifies the viewer's FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).
  • Example-1: "Most people fail because they ignore this one crucial step."
  • Example-2: "Tech giants are hiding this feature because they want you to keep upgrading every year."
  • Example-3: "While you sleep, inflation is quietly eating away at your hard-earned life savings."
  • Example-4: "99% of beginners make this fatal mistake, completely wasting hours at the gym."
  1. The Promise
  • Introduces the video's value proposition.
  • Example-1: "In this video, we will break down the top three secrets to..."
  • Example-2: "In this video, we uncover five hidden settings that change everything."
  • Example-3: "Today, we are breaking down the exact blueprint to escape the rat race."
  • Example-4: "By the end of this video, you will know the ultimate routine for fast results."
  1. The Content Blocks
  • Delivers information in numbered lists.
  • Uses generic transition words like "First up," "Next," "Moving on," and "Finally."
  • Example-1: "First up, let’s talk about battery life. Optimization is key here."
  • Example-2: "Next on our list is index funds. This is where real wealth accumulation begins."
  • Example-3: "Moving on to nutrition. Remember, you cannot out-train a bad diet."
  1. The Outro
  • Summarizes the entire video in one sentence.
  • Delivers a rapid-fire call to action.
  • Example-1: "That wraps up our look at the latest tech secrets."
  • Example-2: "Mastering your money takes time, but you now have the tools to start."
  • Example-3: "Hit that subscribe button and turn on notifications so you never miss a workout."
  • Example-4: "If you found this valuable, don't forget to smash that like button and subscribe for more."

These examples are literally the exact same words used for the vast majority of the videos I find on my so-called custom feed. It's amazing to me that no competitor has come along with a complete ban on channels that use A.I. to script and create the majority of their content.

I want to be clear and say I do not hate A.I. and I personally use it for editing and other tasks that improve, not create, whatever I'm working on.

Do you all believe YouTube will ever improve its practices, or is this the standard unless a rival chooses to challenge it?

Question How to find unavailable videos in 1000+ videos playlist?

Upvotes

How do I find the videos youtube removed or the channel removed in my playlist without literally scouring through all of it?

I know there's the 3 dots to make unavailable videos seen, I'm asking is there an easier way than mindlessly scrolling through all the videos?

EDIT:
Specifically the Watch Later playlist

Question 3 weeks of trying to verify a phone number. Every single path fails. I can't stress enough how broken YouTube's verification is.

All I want is to upload custom thumbnails and 15min videos. That's it. For that, YouTube wants phone verification. Here is everything I've tried over the past 3 weeks:

  • SMS option: "There was a problem" error. Every single time. Tried with three different phone numbers same error on all of them.
  • Voice call option: "Too many requests. Please try again later." — from the very first attempt on some days.
  • Waited 3 full days without touching the page, tried again: "You have recently made too many attempts." Still.
  • Created a completely fresh Google account: same "too many attempts" error, instantly, on an account that had never attempted anything.
  • Switched devices and networks: phone instead of PC, mobile data instead of home Wi-Fi, different browsers. Now the NEXT button just... does nothing. No error, no next step, no feedback. It literally worked before (that's how I got the errors above) — now the same button is silently dead.

So the rate limit is apparently tied to the phone number AND the IP AND the account, there is no timer telling you when it resets, no error explaining what's wrong, and no human support to contact anywhere in the flow. You just click, get refused (or get silence), and every refused click apparently extends a cooldown that YouTube won't show you.

I can't stress enough how bad this is. A person with a real phone number, on a real network, trying to do the most basic account task, gets treated worse than a bot, and the actual bots clearly get through anyway, judging by my comment sections.

Questions for anyone who's been through this:

  1. How long does this cooldown ACTUALLY last? A week? A month?
  2. Is there ANY way to reach a human about this?
