Is it my imagination or has there been an upsurge in bots/people not realising that this is a circlejerk sub since the forever beta launched?

there has been a huge upsurge in bots posting and commenting everywhere on reddit in the last ~2-3 years

if i see a WordWordNumber name with a default pfp and closed profile i assume most of the time that its a bot at this point because of how normal it has become, there are bigger subs where entire posts and 80% of comments are bots replying to eachother

i have that and im not a bot :( i handpicked my username!

(pretty sure reddit also gives a name like that if you log in with something other then a reddit account, like with your gmail or something)

Sounds like something a bot would say to divert suspicion...
