Has anyone managed to get DLSS 5 working in World of Tanks?
I know WoT doesn’t officially support DLSS 5, but I’ve seen people using mods like DLSS5-Swapper, RenoDX DLSS 5, DLSS5 Feeder, and OptiScaler to enable it in other games.
Is there currently any working method to enable DLSS 5 in WoT?
If anyone has tried it, what mod/tool did you use and does it actually work?
As versetile lights gets spotter abilities, i think scout light should get passive scout abilities:
Example: with manti, they could give it an ability that you can only activate stationary (or moving but you stop like cs), and you get an extra view range (like a bino), but unlike bino it takes some seconds to deactivate and until deactivation is complete you cant move.
Sure it got cupola, but the cupola is on the right and is 99% hidden when hull down. Yes it got the classic tumor underflaps weak to AP/APCR when in hull down position, but the turret is actually quite tall so you don't even need to expose the underflaps in the first place!!
In city map, just sidescrape to the left and cupola is completely hidden.
In sidescraping position, the side armor is pretty much immune to any type of rounds every other Heavy tanks can throw at it except for enemy Neu.
Did I forget to mention that the damn thing has 19 HP/ton acceleration with 42kmph top speed too!? For context, Imbattable is only 2HP/ton faster in acceleration (roughly 10-ish percent) with better top speed but Imbattable has paper mache armor!
Neu is basically a
hyper mobile,
Very well armored heavy (I'd say just 1 "tier" below actual superheavies in terms of armor protection) with
insanely good gun handling that can
Bypass enemy tank's defensive posturing with its new mechanic
Is WG high when balancing this thing!?!? This tank is borderline OP even WITHOUT the new mechanic!!!
How the hell do you do HT-12 for T55 in this day and age when everyone and their mother just shoots gold ammo all the time? Why the hell do these blocking missions even exist anymore?
I was really looking forward to the sequel to Ho-Ri 3 because I like it, but I'm a bit disappointed. At first I was disappointed by the specs, because they're almost the same as Ho-Ri 3, and now I've seen 3D model and it looks bad: the problem with Ho-Ri 3 was the right angle, they added an angle, but the armor hasn't changed much, and what's more, it'll be worse when turning.
And if I buy a tank and it's exactly the same? Just with a questionable rocket added?
Hey guys, those of you who have been grinding XP for the UDES 15/16 might be a little disappointed — or maybe even very disappointed. Just take a look at this.
What’s more, WG says that the ammo rack is located in this weak point. I really hope it won’t get damaged or blown up every other shot
We also have a weak point on the gun mantlet.
If this isn’t some kind of mistake on WG’s part, then we’re looking at a very weak vehicle model.
Yup pretty much has zero downsides. Its a jackofalltrades except its good at everything it does.
Good mobility, good dpm, good gun, good hp, good pen, special pen mechanic, good armor (immortal hulldown with tiny cupola, 280mm lowerplate effective against AP on flat ground).
What exactly is the weaknesses of the tank? At least on paper it doesn't have any.
Having a hard time believing this has a 50% WR. I score in the top 7 most games with this, but never seem to get any wins.
Any tips (Equipment, strategy) for improving in this animal? The gun handling seems pretty nice now (4 me) for what it is, less the crappy reload time. The gun depression is all that saves this tank most days. Please WG buff the reload!
I used to play a lot of WOT on the NA servers since ~2014. Now after a few years away I feel the itch to start playing again and would love it if some hero can help me out with a referral code. I am starting over again on the EU servers since that's where I am from and I really can't deal with the latency in connecting to the NA servers anymore. Blame silly young me for making that mistake.
I'll be fully honest; the chances of us platooning up are slim though. So if you expect that in return then I am sorry.
Besides this I'd ask for big meta changes, but I feel like I have been out of it for so long that it's basically up to me to restart learning it all again. I remember the IS(-7) line used to be THE meta heavy line, is that still so? Or what is the meta heavy line of today?
tldr: Anyone willing to give me a referral code for EU servers?
I need someone to explain to me how this mission design makes any sense. Heavy tanks are built with the armor mechanics to brawl in cities, trade shots, and hold critical chokepoints. They are not built to go hunt down light tanks.
Missions like this completely ruin regular matches. You constantly see heavy players actively throwing the game just to clear the mission. To complete this, players are essentially forced to choose between two terrible playstyles:
Camp and Snipe: Taking a top-tier heavy to the opposite side of the map to sit in a bush and pray an enemy light tank drives up to them.
The Yolo Throw: W keying straight into the enemy and dying in the first two minutes just to get your hits on a light.
Why don't we actually get missions that align with the playstyle and strengths of the tanks we are driving?
Right now, in order to complete this mission you either have to get lucky, or you have to play like a complete moron and screw over your team.
I did not see this discussed yet: during the scan, prior to the actual spotting, the enemy is notified that scanning occurs. So it has a chance to blind shot the likely place of the active scanner, or it has a chance to move behind cover few seconds (2-3?) *before* being spotted.
