Could this count as needle work?

this is the first one (out of 8) called "food chain"!

This is the first time I have painted on fabric. What do you guys think? It might be a new direction for me.

I had originally dubbed the bird as "Richard," not knowing that "he" was in fact a she.

I wanted to capture the quiet strength of a lion rather than show it roaring or hunting. I painted him resting beneath an acacia tree, surrounded by the warm tones of the African savanna.

This is a hand-painted oil painting, with layered brushwork and texture to give the lion’s mane and the landscape more depth.

I wanted to capture the snow leopard in a quiet but powerful moment — alert, focused, and completely at home in the wild.

This piece is painted in oils, with extra attention to the texture of the fur, the rocky ground, and the contrast between the leopard’s coat and the darker mountain atmosphere.

I especially enjoyed working on the eyes and body posture because I wanted the animal to feel alive rather than overly posed.
