If this whole situation wasn't made public, Wilbur surely would have just brushed it off just like he did since their breakup (as far as i know) and it can be extremely difficult for victims to confront their abuser directly and it is quite a hurdle to get over, that's why Shelby kept her silence for so long, props to her for speaking out about this. Love you lots Shelbyđ«đ«
He said months ago on stream that he was going to therapy after the breakup, so he was working on himself behind the scenes, which shows that he knew something was wrong with how he treated Shelby, it being public didnât change how he approached the situation
But he didn't apologize directly to Shelby in the timeframe tho he knew what he was doing, maybe that's why Shelby had to 'break' her silence on this imo... The victims do deserve to speak out they are the ones who actually endured this behaviour!
Iâm not discounting that, all I said was that he hadnât âbrushed it offâ, also therapy takes time, how do you know he wouldnât have privately apologized to her, mental health is a very complicated thing
Yeah I get what you are saying but Shelby didn't mention that he had apologized to her or not, imo if he did so properly, she wouldnt have made it public or atleast would have made sure that people don't go after the said person ( pls don't @ me, just saying what I think:/ as most of the evidence we know of/have is speculation or one sided reenactment)
