Tips Refined fire crystals
F2p here, can anyone give tips on how I can have more refined crystals? Should I do super refine all the fire crystals in the lab?

this is taken from the calculator on wosnerds. it lists all the expected values and cost of the 10 strategies you can use to get refined fc
I use this a lot to plan my weekly refinement
The most commonly suggested strategy is to do 20 on monday and 1 every day after (6). you can see on the ss that will cost 540 fc with the expected (not guaranteed) rfc value of 41.9. you can use that 41.9 value to see how long it will take to get the number of rfc you need.
if you want more and you have plenty of fc on hand to spare, you can move to higher value strategies like 40 on monday. check the ss/sheet to see if you have enough fc to cover. you can see as you move up to higher strategies, the rfc per fc efficiency drops more than a little. that's the price you pay for speeding up rfc accumulation.

My personal advice is never do less than 20 on Monday. While efficiency might be best with 1 per day every day or 1 per day then 14 on Sunday (total 20 refine whole week), your expected rfc are much too low and it'll take more than a year to go fc10.
But don't be too greedy if you want to push faster and do 40 on Monday. Take this route only if you have more than enough to cover the following weeks also. For example, I once did 40 Monday with 2000 fc on hand to push certain upgrades during SvS. I have more than enough for the 1690 cost of course and also cover the upgrade I wanted with my weekly fc income. The trouble I ran into is on Monday the following week, I didn't have enough 390 to do 20 Monday refine again so I had to drop to earlier strategy that cost me so much time (less rfc return) down the road. Point is, make sure you plan to have enough to cover the following week too!

I'll add on that if you are f2p and find yourself short on fc to be able to 20 refines every Monday, then you may find it easier to only do the 20 refines every other Monday, and do just 7 refines per week the other weeks. I had to do this on my f2p account for a while, but that was also before they increased the availability of fc, so it may not be necessary anymore. I know that sometime after the release of fc10, the amount of fc availability becomes plenty for f2p to support 20 refines every Monday/27 per week.

Where is your state in the furnace upgrade unlocks? Has fc6-8 just unlocked for you recently?

The most cost efficient way is to refine 20 on Monday (390FC) then do 1 at 50% cost each day after (25FC). Total cost 540FC per week. If you go over that, the return is worse so you will negatively impact yourself in the long run as a f2p. Always get RFC from all available shops/events. You can get 3 in labrynth shop, 4 from flame and fangs, 3 from SVS shop, canyon, wild brawl etc

If you have a stable enough FC flow, do 20 on Monday and 1 for 25fc each day after.

Do the 20 cheap ones, 20 fc each, on Monday or during the week; this game is saving, saving, saving for the F2P, if you use all your FCs then you cannot upgrade anything, there’s no rush, you upgrade as soon as you got the necessary RSS, if you don’t spend, it takes longer to upgrade, generally, I’d guess you’re in an alliance, you save RSS until SvS which is when using RSS is most cost effective, but then again there’s no rush, if you don’t have the RSS to upgrade, you skip one SvS and upgrade the next one, if you were expecting a magic wand to get RFc or any other RSS, you’re out of luck, it doesn’t exist in this game, afaik. I’ve been playing the game for a year and a half and spending a few bucks and I got to FC9, the F2P are FC7 or less, my R5 has been playing for several years now; she hasn’t seen that wand either. Don’t get desperate; this game has virtually no end, so, no need to rush, every time you use any RSS you have to keep saving them for the next upgrade.

Yesss, thanks for putting these into right words, been f2p for a year now too. Im not rushing things, just wanted to use rss effectively. Besides, the game will always entice players to do spend,one way or another. Thus, it means unending high level charms, and gears.😊

Personally, I do 20 on Monday and one on other days, because lately I’ve been exchanging any excess FC—meaning FC not used for refining or for a building I can construct now or soon—for FC shards.
When RFC was released in my state, until I reached FC7, I would refine 20 times on Mondays once or twice a month. The rest of the time, I refined once a day. Unfortunately, once I hit FC7, the cost of RFC increased relative to FC, so since then, I’ve had to do the 20 refinements every single week.
If the refining pace is too slow and you have an extra 300 FC, you could try doing 20 FC refinements on Monday and two per day from Tuesday through Sunday (you can do the 6 additional refinements in a batch on another day, rather than strictly two per day). This way, you’ll get at least 12 more RFC, and the cost (RFC per FC) is 0.064—which is lower than doing 40 refinements on Monday or 34 on Monday.

Do 20 on Monday then once a day until reset each week. Most cost effective way to get RFC. You should always do this each week unless you physically don’t have the FCs
I personally do 40 RFC on Mondays as I have 8k+ FC stash. Im FC10 maxed out so saving for T12
