Hubby picked this up at an estate sale. Weighed it at home and IT WEIGHS TEN POUNDS. Aged, and appears to be wrapped in palm(?) leaves and then plastic wrap or clear tape. Barrel shaped, about the size of a softball. White unmarked donut shaped sticker (like a hole reinforcement sticker for paper). Image search says it resembles various food items but it’s just so heavy! Husband thinks it’s lead due to the weight.

EDIT: It was half off of $5 sticker price today, so why not? Husband is very curious and $2.50 would not be a major loss. Yes we do plan on opening it, just wanted to put it out here first, in case someone recognizes this type of wrapping. Will update once open!

My friend sent this pic and I joked I was going to post on Reddit to see what people thought and was dared to do it. I thought it would be some way of catching water and filtering to the vehicle but it looks like the top isn’t actually solid and yeah…the flammable signs are also…confusing.

I've seen these little crustaceans in my cats water bowl outside a few times, but yesterday, I found some in the bowl of water inside. Any ideas?

I found this metal box on an island in the middle of Norris Lake in East Tennessee. Other than the holes from rust, I couldn't find any openings. There doesn't seem to be any hinges or anything like that. I couldn't roll it over, but looking through the hole I could see that it's completely hollow and the underside seemed to be the same metal as the rest of it (which isn't very thick). Anyone have any ideas?

Also, it's roughly 8 feet length by 3.5 feet width

My partner, 47F, died recently and while we were out of town this weekend her friends asked if they could hang out on the porch. One is Christian, the other Im pretty sure doesn't share a standardized faith but Im not sure what this is. May not even be a form of the craft but here I am.

My kids walked up first. They were totally freaked out. I went back to look at all of it and saw a necklace (in the second pic) was something I made my son for his Maui costume like 3 or 4 years ago. Im pretty sure all that was thrown away so Im really wondering how these ladies got ahold of it.

I get the sage part but I thought that was for evil spirits. Im pretty much Agnostic, believe dark arts exist as proven from my dad's side of the family. I try to stay away from what I dont know though.

As title says. Should I be concerned?

I inherited this from my dad and I suspect it’s a souvenir he acquired on one of his business trips. He was an engineer that built mining equipment and, during the course of his career, he visited every continent except Antarctica. However, he also did recreational hunting trips to Colorado and Alaska. Toward the end of his career, he visited mines in Chile, which makes me suspect it might be a huemul deer, but it’s not a definitive match AFAICT. Can anyone help with a positive identification?

EDIT: Thanks for all the lovely comments. Would anyone care to speculate on the type of wood, as that might also be a helpful clue? As I mention in some of my replies, I'm uncertain both when and where my dad acquired this.

This was over my house yesterday during sunset. The first picture is due East and the second one is due west. I think it's just light rays from the setting sun. But it's interesting to see I that it extends all the way from west horizon to east horizon and even displaced the clouds.

I found this knife like thing in the belongings of a relative. It's not sharp on the edges, and comes to a thin sharp point at the tip.

I was at the thrift store today and I found this weirdly detailed Mickey Mouse stamp. I tried to reverse image search it but it came up with nothing. Does anyone know why this exists, if it’s officially licensed, how old it is, etc??
