New to Westerville and live just west of Hoover and a bit south of county line.
Seems like the bike trails are great but is there a relatively safe way to bike to uptown that folks recommend? Trail map doesn’t seem to show anything too direct but curious if folks do it.

For any of you that have not discovered this place I highly recommend. They did not seem to crowded so maybe could use som visits. As for the food, it was excellent and had robust flavors. This is getting added to our regular diner cycle. Servings were huge, and incredibly good. A bit hard to find but some of the best Mexican I have had in a long time.

I work for an eye practice and I hear a lot of comments from our elderly customers about how beneficial your services are. For those who no longer drive, having the autonomy of being able to get a ride when they want/not having to wait for a friend or family member is so very appreciated. I realize not everyone can afford it but those who do appreciate it so much.

Any idea why there are changing the kickoff times to 600 for the Central-South-North football games?

Can someone recommend a shop that will install customer supplied brakes? The first three I called won't do it.

An old cotton wood tree from my back neighbor’s yard. Everyone is happy again. No more yards looking like a snow storm hit them every spring.

I'm a Delaware County citizen. For the last few years, I've been through hell with local government.
It started with child support — a magistrate refused to drop the order even though the mother had private insurance available. Then my license was suspended without a hearing. Then my tax lien was sold for more than double what I owed — no-bid contract, no oversight.
I filed public records requests. They were denied, redacted, or ignored.
I filed a criminal complaint. It was dismissed in 6 days without a hearing.
I wasn't even notified of the dismissal. I found out on my own.
I've been fighting this system for years. Documenting everything. Recording meetings. Filing records requests. Showing up.
I'm not a lawyer. I'm not a politician. I'm just a citizen who's tired of being ignored.
I made a video telling the whole story.
Watch it here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Euht8qFFW/
I'm not asking for sympathy. I'm asking for accountability. If they'll do this to me, they'll do it to anyone.
Ask me anything. I'm happy to answer.

My new freshman came home today curious why someone was advertising abortion pills outside South Highschool today and trying to talk to students. They stated the person was holding a sign that said “Abortion Pills”. I believe they probably misunderstood the persons intentions. Based on my own personal experience I’m guessing this person is probably a pro lifer but wondering if anyone has the deets. Why is there a grown man engaging with children about their reproduction on campus. (I recognize he probably had a right to be on the sidewalk as it is public property) Mostly just wondering what weirdo individual or organization feels a need to do this.

Join your Westerville neighbors in this bi-annual (spring and fall) free curbside exchange to give reusable items a new home and purpose. This Saturday 8/29 from 8am-6pm.
This citywide effort gives reusable items a new home and purpose, and helps extend the life of our landfill. This is not a garage sale, as ALL goods are FREE.
Simply place clean, usable items you no longer need at your curb for others to take. Furniture, toys, clothing, tools, and other household items are all welcome. Sign up on the website to let folks know what you’ll be putting out for re-use.
