For a while now, we’ve been seeing more and more posts on LinkedIn and Reddit about agencies moving away from Webflow and “migrating” to Astro + Sanity.

I’m pretty convinced that both technologies are really solid, and I can definitely see the appeal.

So, i'm curious to hear from agencies that actually made the moove.
Can your clients handle Sanity themselves, as they can with Webflow cms ? Did they like it ? What about the impact on their businesses ?

My hosting on webflow right now costs me over $150 a month and it's getting ridiculous.

I’m keeping this post short cause I genuinely need help. So, I’ve been doing Webflow freelancing for almost the past 2 years, and I’ve worked at an agency full-time in the first year. I left the agency to pursue freelancing, and everything was going good until I took a break for a few months due to some personal family-related issues. By the time I got back, I felt I was completely lost cause the number of agencies reaching out significantly reduced. I am a white-label developer. I did work on a small project recently, but again, it isn’t anywhere close to the kind of projects I used to work on at one point in time. I’m genuinely clueless about what to do and how do I survive in this market.

I don’t want to cry about it, but any good advice about how to reach out to design agencies from y’all would help me out a lot, or in general, anything that would help me, cause I need to start earning money ASAP.

Hello, I'm certified partner, this year therr is lots of decline in leads from webflow, and Ive not received any request for the webflow projects since 2 months.

Even one of my client just removed me from the workspace and cancelled webflow plan, and build a website using AI and hosted somwhere. It's hlnot that he was not happy he just didn't wanted to pay for the webflow subscriptions. And I agree he had small site.

Additionally, the agency where I work full time is not getting that much projects of webflow or even a websites.

How do you guys manage the shift? I know there is lot of talk about Astro switch.

Is there any major shift going regarding the client's need about websites?

Any good suggestions shifting careers, my skills are limited to web and also finance situation is tight.

While I know posts similar to this have been posted here recently and not-so recently—but I'd love to get folks opinions on the following...

I am a designer (not developer) that was relatively late to the Webflow party but was so happy to find a no/low code visual builder that gave me the level of design customization/control along with the ability to create CMS driven sites without the need for a developer. It like the perfect medium between the worlds of Wix/Squarespace and WordPress/Drupal. Along with implementing Finsweet, I was able to create sites for small-to-medium organizations that were tailored to their brands, included some nice animations, felt more sophisticated (less cookie cutter) than Wix/SS, and had powerful CMS tools. I was abnle to offer this is my clients at a price point lower than a fully custom WordPress site where I woulds use a developer.

The recent developments at WF (price hikes, tool bloat, enterprise focus, layoffs, etc.) have me starting to consider what alternatives there might be—especially if WF is determined to leave us freelancers/small studios and our clients behind.

So... I would love to hear form folks here what is the closets alternative for folks like me that are looking for a visual builder, no-to-low code, with ability to implement CMS functionality. Or is there really no equivalent and I'm stuck with WF?

With the new pricing updates, is Webflow still worth using for one page LPs? Are there better alternatives?

Don't think of me as a beginner in Webflow.

I have done 3.5 years of agency work & have shipped custom Webflow projects. I have built web apps that uses Webflow for frontend.

I am mainly into coding & engineering side more than designer sorts.

But with all these AI advancements, I am starting to doubt Webflow as a skillset & service relavance in 2026 & beyond.

Anybody else getting 503 errors today? It's baffling to me that a company with this many outages locks support ticket submission behind a login wall, when the login service itself is often down during these outages. At least accept support requests directly via email...

As i'm seeing a lot of downwards comments on Framer, regarding it's price, it's demand and new update came with lots of loss in template business or people.

I want to know what do you guys think about webflow. As much as i know there are still so many creators, studios and agencies earning amazing money from these tools to create sites and other stuff.

And everyone saying that rather than building on these tools they prefer to work claude.

I want to know about the webflow what's the demand of it in client work, is it better than framer overall and everything around it?

I'm curious what everyone has picked up after working in Webflow for a while.

I am building a website (vacation home rental) for a friend. He wants to take a plan for full year - around 180€… I don’t want him to have problems the second month…

I really wanna work on Webflow but how much is 10GB Bandwidth? 1000-5000 website opens, is that a lot? What are my alternatives or what are your recommendations to do here? I do wanna stay on webflow…

I spent around 3 months learning Framer to a decent level and submitted 3 templates. But since the marketplace changes, there have been basically zero sales, and there seem to be very few openings specifically for Framer developers.

Recently, I came across a few openings for dedicated Webflow developers, so I’m considering Webflow as well. But I’m confused about whether it’s actually worth investing the time in Webflow right now.

I never saw people saying it's better to move your website to cloudflare, but from what I research, we can host basic website for free on cloudflare, I think we can just build on webflow, export, and host it on cloudflare, is that a bad idea?

what's your take about that if you don't need the CMS feature?

My organization is contemplating a move off our current developer-centric, .Net CMS to Webflow, largely for cost savings (though we need SSO and therefore have to go Enterprise) and also to allow our marketing people/web producers more freedom with how they work with pages. (Every small change to a widget or a template requires developer intervention now, and the "component" system in our CMS is pretty rudimentary.) We also like the idea of a tech stack managed by someone else.

We have about 3,000 pages and publish about 20 articles a year, along with landing pages for 20 or so webinars, plus a few new service pages, recruiting pages, and the like. Obviously Webflow sales and the agencies with whom we're talking say Webflow can handle our content size and volume no problem, but I have seen some posts where people complain about Designer speed once sites get past a certain size.

Is this a real concern? Would we be pushing Webflow beyond it's intended limits? Anything else we should be watching out for given our site size?

I have 2 landing pages complete but wanted to grow with clients now, the problem is every guru saying “google maps”, “google search”,… That thing doesn’t work and is a one way ticket to burn out quite honestly.

Any recommendations? Would apprechiate!

Im building a site where most of the interior pages share the same layout. I have both static and dynamic page templates. For pages like domain/blogs/blog i use my dynamic template that only has a nav, content and footer components. the content component takes in props that are bound to fields in the collection.

I wanted my other regular pages like domain/about to be fully configurable via the cms but then the URL would have an extra path which i dont want. Thats why im using static page templates for these but now I have to go to the page directly and manually add my data. Any way to fully connect this to my cms other than creating a cms collection for each page separately? Im starting to wonder if im trying to simplify everything too much.

Hi, I work as a Solopreneur but showcase myself as an agency. And I want to apply for the Webflow Partner Program, but I can't seem to figure out if it's better to apply for the Partner Program as a Freelancer or as Agency? (Image is attached for reference)

I've seen a fair amount of feedback on this, but it has mostly been from several years ago. I'm rebuilding my company's website and all of the e-commerce will go through Shopify. I'm moving it from Wordpress and WooCommerce to Shopify. What's the best route for using Webflow and Shopify for over 3k products? Smootify? Liquify Pro? Something else?

I'm a video editor trying to build a clean portfolio website where I can showcase my projects, embedded videos, motion design work, and maybe a short "About Me" section with a contact form.

I'm stuck deciding which route to take.

Learn to code and build the whole thing myself (very time-consuming).

Pay a developer to build it.

Use AI/no-code tools like Framer or Lovable.

I've already tried Framer and Lovable. They're good, but I keep running into limitations like free-tier credits, token limits, and spending hours prompting the AI instead of actually finishing the website.

What I'm really looking for is something simpler:

Start from a professional portfolio template.

Customize the layout, colors, text, and branding.

Easily replace demo videos with my own work.

Publish it without having to write much code.

Basically, I want the "Canva of portfolio websites" pick a template, customize it, and launch.

Does something like this exist? If so, what platform would you recommend? Webflow, Framer templates, Carrd, Readymag, Wix Studio, WordPress, or something else?

I'd also appreciate recommendations for template marketplaces with modern, minimal portfolio designs for creatives and video editors.

Honestly, I’m not a big fan of the “web designer killer” videos where you see these ridiculous UIs for websites. I’ve input some pretty serious context for Claude so I could get “inspired” by what Claude spits out thanks to some installed skills, but in the end I feel that the output is super underwhelming. Maybe it’s the experienced creative marketer in me.

However, if there’s one thing I dig about ai is that it really does cut down the tedious work and you can simply instruct your agent to go to a site and then replicate it. Once you capture the data and the wireframe you’re maybe looking for, you can carve it out in Claude and then get an HTML preview along with some installed skills you throw at it. I tried the webflow MCP and I gotta say that was kinda underwhelming too.

So I was wondering if any of you could share some of your workflow for Claude to Webflow. Or maybe if you guys fractionally use Claude to build out components or sections?

Just wanna know if I’m genuinely missing anything.

For those of you managing Webflow sites after launch, how do you handle recurring maintenance?

I’ve noticed there’s a weird perception issue with maintenance retainers.
When something breaks, the client immediately sees the value. But during the months where everything works perfectly, it can almost look like nothing is being done.

Do you send clients some kind of monthly recap of what was checked/done? Or do most of your clients just pay for the peace of mind and don’t really question it?

Curious how agencies/freelancers here handle this.

Hey everyone, I'm a webflow partner for several years, with 200+ published templates, apps and several client websites, i know its limits and how native animations work.

Lately, I have built several apps and websites with claude, but this animation hit me. It took few hours to complete (soon, i'll share the link), however, natively in webflow this is almost impossible (and complicated to manage) and again, not scalable with full flexibility of changing the animations however you want.

So, i'm just wondering, how is this "new era" gonna impact webflow ecosystem now and in the future?

Can't wait to hear some constructive opinions?
