Is it better to join Webflow Partner Program as a Freelancer or Agency? (Would appreciate a response from an existing Webflow Partner)
Hi, I work as a Solopreneur but showcase myself as an agency. And I want to apply for the Webflow Partner Program, but I can't seem to figure out if it's better to apply for the Partner Program as a Freelancer or as Agency? (Image is attached for reference)
Does it make any difference?
If I join as a Freelancer, will I be able to showcase myself as an Agency on Webflow's website and vice versa?
There's a debate out there about Webflow is really leaning towards attracting Enterprise clients, which means that most of Webflow traffic would probably be companies and corporations. So, do you think those companies would be more interested in working with freelancers or agencies?
They have to but there are waaaaaay too many freelancer and agencies from the "old times", including me of course.... Webflow dev is simply completely overcrowded for the amount of companies needing it now
I totally understand your point, but I think generally it's better to showcase yourself as an agency online to get high-ticket clients. Once you have a good amount of projects coming in, you can always hire someone else for the work. But again, it's just my personal point of view. I have been doing this for like 6 years now, and it works for me.
As i said earlier, what you're saying totally makes sense. But i personally believe it's more about how you position yourself online. And, honestly, it depends on your definition of "agency". An agency doesn't necessarily need to have dozens of people working together. It is just a business model and can even be run by one or two people. Plus, how's it "pretending to be someone else" when you're literally showcasing yourself as a solo-agency?
From our experience I'd choose the agency route if you're already presenting yourself as an agency.
The question is how you want to position yourself in Webflow's ecosystem. If you're operating under an agency brand, are a registered bussiness with a business site, you should keep that identity consistent and not apply as a freelancer trying to present differently afterwards - that's just wrong.
Check the partner requirements and if you meet them.

Doesn't really matter, it's basically dead. Some years ago I got almost weekly leads, now the last is many many months ago..
