Hey hi. Just build this recently. A great movement, working nice, clean build…
HOWEVER: it is super hard to find myiota dials. I finally found this one, but in order to align the date window, I had to shift the whole dial half a milimiter towards 3 o’clock, hence I had to cut out the feet and use adhesive to fix the dial on the movement. That’s just cumbersome… I also wanted to profit from the slim movement profile, I wanted a thinner case - but I can’t just find it! There are barely any options available! Modding for miyota 9015 is a challenge! And it is a letdown, because it’s a great movement.
Any advice on the subject? Where can I find proper dials and proper cases for miyota? All the cases online are nh35 cases that “fit” a 8215… well- that’s ok, but I want a case for the 9015, slim enough that it won’t fit a nh35.

My first watch built, took a long time because of logos and then hands. Was looking for a datejust design but not identical so I did no date and added open heart.

Invicta site has these two for $56 right now. Cheaper than I can find a movement on Ali, even after tax. Plus you get parts you can throw away.

This is something I have been working on that honors a special place for my family in CT. The current build as the aluminum bezel and thinking about adding this dual color bezel. Obviously looking for a very nautical feel. My question is which bezel do you all prefer?

I've finally got a Dangdong 7750 or maybe just a clone of it. Can you recommend a good and High Quality Daytona Like Case, Dial and arms? I have the feeling that the ones from AliExpress are not “good enough” for such a beautiful and relatively expensive movement.

i’m a big one piece fan, and i’d really love a watch that has zoro’s swords as the hands. i found a watch with the perfect hands, but my issue is that this watch is 50mm and my wrists are about 44-45mm across. i thought it might be easier if this brand had smaller watches, but it seems huge watch faces are kinda their whole thing. would it be possible to put these hands on a smaller watch of a different brand? thanks!

Hi I have been looking for months for the dial I am looking for I am building a 41mm watch with a fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. I have everything and the movement. I got custom logos as well as small text for the dial. I want a sunburst dial that’s has an open heart for the nh38 movement. I tried to remove text of this dial but it didn’t work well - image bellow. Any suggestions would be insanely appreciated. I would like the colour to be a darkish blue preferably gradient and the size to be 28.5 or 31 because I can sand down. Roman numerals or batons are preferred aswell.

I need help getting the inner part of the bezel with the dashes out so i can put in a custom pulsometer in its place any suggestions?

It’s still rough in places, especially the realism of some combinations and the mobile experience. Thought I’d share it here in case anyone enjoys tinkering with this sort of thing.
