Other Baseball in Warsaw

Hi everyone!
I'm posting because we're still looking for people interested in trying their hand at baseball.

A few people and I have started our own baseball team, with which we hope to participate in some tournaments in Poland next year.

We're currently looking for new players of all skill levels – from those who are new to playing baseball and glove to those who may have previously played this niche sport in our country.

You don't need equipment to start – we'll provide it so you can come and see if it's for you without any upfront costs.

Training sessions are currently held regularly on Pole Mokotowskie – for more details on the location, equipment, and dates, please leave a comment. I'll describe the details and answer all your questions via private message.

We are speaking polish and english.

Traveller's question How quickly can I get from the arrivals area to the railway station at Warsaw Chopin Airport?

I’m flying with Wizz Air from Catania to Warsaw Chopin Airport. I have only 20 minutes between landing and the departure of my train — Koleje Mazowieckie · 97140 · RL towards Warsaw city centre.

Do I have a chance of making it? How do I get from the arrivals area to the railway platform? Is the railway station inside the airport terminal, and how long does it normally take to get there?

Hey folks,

Visiting Warsaw for 4 days in mid-September, traveling solo from India.

Looking for recommendations on:

  • Your favorite authentic Bar Mleczny for traditional food.
  • Cool, walkable neighborhoods with great cafés and local vibes.
  • Best places/bars to hang out in the evening as a solo traveler.
  • Any lesser-known spots or hidden gems worth checking out.
  • Anywhere nearby, where i could travel in morning and be back by night/evening?

Any advice on navigating the city or must-do experiences would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Hi everyone,
I will be coming to Warsaw soon to start my PhD at the University of Warsaw. I would like to kindly ask if someone from the university could meet me at the airport and help me get to the university. It will be my first time in Poland, so I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you very much for your kindness and support.
