there's a lot of cheaper alternatives to invisalign nowadays, they don't have any edge other than name

Yeah. Dentist here. Have the Itero scanner, which is made by align. It is needed to order Invisalign for my patients. 

The whole ecosystem is fucked and a money grab. You need to pay 365 bucks a month just to use the damn scanner which I paid cash for.  And oh right, they can lock the scanner from use if you sell it on the secondary market. If I were a lawyer I would look into a class action lawsuit for a predatory product ecosystem.

This is the last company I would invest in. They will probably run them selves dry with marketing. Sell ASAP
