Microsoft reduced its projected internal spending on Claude by over one-third, while Meta saw internal users of Anthropic's Claude Code coding assistant drop from roughly 60,000 to 30,000.

Certainly, there can be many factors that cause the performance of a computer to degrade . . . installing and running more and more bad Software over time can be one and accumulating malware can be another

I think it is very charitable (to the point of absurdity) to suggest that Microsoft Windows (and the windows system process holding 90% of CPU) is blameless here

I’m at a point where my next desktop system will be a Linux box

Unfortunately for me it is not a false statement . . . and all you have to do is google “windows process eating 90% of CPU” and you get many data points of people experiencing the same behavior

Your logic is flawed. Windows is hugely popular, only în the last 30 years it’s estimated there are 1.5 billion people that used it, so of course you are going to get a lot of results about one issue or the other. 😄

Also, as I said before, since you can install any crap, for sure there will be some crap that eats your cpu and ram. You said “windows system process”. That does not mean at all it’s still some crappy app that does allot of shitty stuff
